“Alchimie materiche. Attraverso le tracce del tempo”. Sono quelle che il sociologo e critico d’arte Maurizio Vitiello presenterà domenica 29 giugno alle 18, nel giardino letterario e soffee house Scotto-Capodanno di Procida, in Via Principe Umberto n. 71. Protagonista è l’artista Arianna Spizzico. L’introduzione sarà a cura di Maria Capodanno. L’esposizione resterà aperta sino a sabato 5 luglio.
Originaria di Bari, Arianna vive nell’isola del golfo napoletano e fa parte di nota famiglia di artisti, con un lungo percorso artistico documentato in varie pubblicazioni. Suo terreno di ricerca è la realtà filtrata da una singolare visione “metaforica”, tra il surreale e il simbolico.
Nel suo lavoro, la durezza del metallo e la leggerezza del segno si intrecciano nell’unione degli opposti, con sapiente utilizzo di materiali: lamine di rame, legno, sabbia e, in alcuni casi, anche diodi e rondelle.
Questo percorso espositivo si snoda nella qualità di contrasti e in una rete cosciente di valori e visioni.
Con la terra narra della sua solidità investigativa, con l’aria ci annovera i sogni immaginati e le aspettative concepite, con l’acqua delinea la sua perenne fluidità, con il fuoco risolve la sua passione creativa.
Nel corso della serata sarà consegnata al sindaco del Comune di Procida, Raimondo Ambrosino, e al delegato alla cultura, Michele Assante del Leccese, il quadro multi-materico Madonna Elsa, omaggio alla scrittrice Elsa Morante, realizzato su tela a base lignea con l’antica tecnica dei pigmenti puri a olio.

Procida/ The material alchemies of Arianna Spizzico. Those traces of time
“Material alchemies. Through the traces of time”. Originally from Bari, Arienna lives in Procida and is part of a well-known family of artists, with a long artistic career documented in various publications.
Her research field is reality filtered by a singular “metaphorical” vision, between the surreal and the symbolic.
In her work, the hardness of the metal and the lightness of the sign intertwine in the union of opposites, with a skillful use of materials: copper sheets, wood, sand and, in some cases, even diodes and washers.
This exhibition itinerary unfolds in the quality of contrasts and in a conscious network of values and visions.
With the earth he narrates his investigative solidity, with the air he includes his imagined dreams and conceived expectations, with the water he outlines his perennial fluidity, with the fire he resolves his creative passion.
During the evening the multi-material painting Madonna Elsa will be delivered to the mayor of the Municipality of Procida, Raimondo Ambrosino, and to the delegate for culture, Michele Assante del Leccese, a tribute to the writer Elsa Morante, made on a wooden-based canvas with the ancient technique of pure oil pigments.
