Pompeii. Vox feminae. Le parole segrete delle donne. Progetto nel parco archeologico ispirato alla mostra “Essere donna nell’Antica Pompei” (nella Palestra Grande, visitabile fino al 31 gennaio 2026) e prodotto da Casa del Contemporaneo.
A raccontare Poppea venerdì 19 settembre nella Villa di Oplontis a Torre Annunziata (che si ritiene possa essere stata una sua dimora) ci saranno due uomini, a lei legati, il suo schiavo fedele Secundus e suo marito, l’Imperatore Nerone.
Intitolata “Il silenzio del servo“, la performance porta in scena Gennaro Apicella, Luca Iervolino e il musicista Massimo Cordovani. Regia e drammaturgia sono di Rosario Sparno.
Tessitrice che visse nella città sepolta, Flavia Agatea, invece, sarà protagonista dello spettacolo Il filo liberato che si terrà sabato 20 settembre al Teatro Piccolo di Pompei. La interpreta Marica Mastromarino (foto) che con Fabio Cocifoglia firma la drammaturgia. Con lei in scena due danzatori, Giada Primiano e Alessandro Scavello. Da schiava a tessitrice, Flavia Agatea ripercorre la sua storia, con ironia e passione.
Gli spettacoli prevedono una replica alle 17,30 per il pubblico già presente nei siti archeologici e due repliche serali, alle 20,30 e alle 22,00 (con biglietto 7€ + prevendita su www.tickteone.it selezionando POMPEI VOX FEMINAE).
Presentarsi mezz’ora prima dell’orario indicato perché gli spettacoli saranno sempre puntuali. Non sarà possibile accedervi dopo che saranno iniziati, anche se si è in possesso di prenotazione.
Gli spettacoli si inseriscono a completamento dell’offerta delle passeggiate notturne, in programma a settembre, fino a inizio ottobre.
Prima di ogni spettacolo è prevista una breve visita didattica a cura de Le Nuvole teatro arte scienza, che illustrerà le caratteristiche e la storia dei luoghi che ospitano le performance. Per gli spettacoli che si terranno a Pompei all’ Odeion (Teatro piccolo), l’ingresso al Parco archeologico è da piazza Esedra.

Pompeii. Vox feminae. The secret words of women. A project at the archaeological park inspired by the exhibition “Being a Woman in Ancient Pompeii” (in the Palestra Grande, open until January 31, 2026) and produced by Casa del Contemporaneo.
On Friday, September 19th, at the Villa of Oplontis in Torre Annunziata (which is believed to have been her home), Poppea will be narrated by two men close to her: her faithful slave Secundus and her husband, the Emperor Nero.
Entitled “The silence of the servant,” the performance features Gennaro Apicella, Luca Iervolino, and musician Massimo Cordovani. Directed and written by Rosario Sparno.
A weaver who lived in the buried city, Flavia Agatea will star in the show taking place on Saturday, September 20th at the Teatro Piccolo in Pompeii. She will be played by Marica Mastromarino (photo), who also wrote the dramaturgy with Fabio Cocifoglia. Two dancers, Giada Primiano and Alessandro Scavello, join her on stage. From slave to weaver, Flavia Agatea retraces her story with irony and passion.
The performances include a repeat performance at 5:30 pm for those already present at the archaeological sites, and two evening performances, at 8:30 pm and 10:00 pm (tickets cost €7 + advance booking at www.tickteone.it, selecting POMPEI VOX FEMINAE).
Please arrive half an hour before the scheduled time, as the performances will always be on time. It will not be possible to access them after they have begun, even with a reservation.
The performances complement the nighttime walks, scheduled from September until early October.
Before each performance, a short educational tour by Le Nuvole teatro arte scienza will illustrate the characteristics and history of the venues hosting the performances. For the shows held in Pompeii at the Odeion (Small Theatre), the entrance to the Archaeological Park is from Piazza Esedra.
