Attenzione, le incantatrici del mare sono tornate. E sono sorprendenti. Lo vedrete in Stirpe di Sirene. Amelia e Francesca Rondinella, con Patrizia Di Martino (foto) e le coreografie di Elena D’Aguanno apriranno con questo spettacolo quasi ipnotico, oggi, sabato 5 settembre alle 21, la rassegna Incontri di Danza a cura di Antonella Iannone, storico appuntamento del Festival dei Barbuti di Salerno.
In un luogo senza tempo, storia e leggenda si incontrano per raccontare di una dinastia dimenticata e maledetta. Thalia, Aeglae ed Eufrosine, uniche discendenti, si esibiscono in una coreografia onirica. Attraverso il canto sacro potrebbero liberarsi.
Un musical emozionale, con momenti di sceneggiata, varietà e comicità, mentre le sirene lottano per trovare un nuovo equilibrio tra il loro mondo e quello degli esseri umani, conservando il loro potere misterioso e il legame con il mare.
Alla fine non sacrificano mai nulla, si prendono tutto: vita tra gli umani, potere intatto e vista mare.

Watch out—the sea enchantresses are back. And they’re amazing. You’ll see for yourselves in *Stirpe di Sirene*. Amelia and Francesca, together with Patrizia Di Martino (photo) and choreography by Elena D’Aguanno, will open the “Incontri di Danza” festival—curated by Antonella Iannone and a long-standing highlight of Salerno’s Festival dei Barbuti—with this almost hypnotic performance today. On Saturday, the 5th of September, at 9:00 p.m.
In a timeless place, history and legend converge to tell the story of a forgotten and cursed dynasty. Thalia, Aeglae, and Eufrosine—the sole descendants—perform in a dreamlike choreography. Through sacred song, they may find their freedom.
An emotional musical, featuring moments of traditional Neapolitan theater, variety acts, and comedy, as the sirens struggle to find a new balance between their world and that of humans, while preserving their mysterious power and their connection to the sea.
In the end, they sacrifice nothing—they take it all: a life among humans, their power intact, and a view of the sea.
