Incanto. Quello di piazza del Plebiscito per l’apertura del Campania teatro Festival venerdì sera. Una performance con una scenografia suggestiva, quello del Palazzo reale con la basilica di San Francesco di Paola, accese da sfumature colorate sulle facciate. Ma non è stato solo questo.
L’esibizione della violinista napoletana Caterina Bianco con tre acrobate (Maria Anzivino, Marianna Moccia e Viola Russo), quattro corpi sospesi in aria è stata una rappresentazione di poesia scenica, bella come una favola moderna dove l’azione è un volo collettivo calmo, senza intoppi e frenesia, cove Piazza del plebiscito si estende in tutta la sua bellezza architettonica, contemplando quelle scultura umane in aria, accompagnate dalla dolce musica del violino.
La rassegna diffusa nei luoghi del territorio procede adesso a ritmo serrato con un susseguirsi di spettacoli. Tra questi Al teatro Mercadante, stasera alle 21 “Lapis Lazuli”, spettacolo per cinque performer e un abbagliante cavalluccio marino, ideato e diretto da Euripides Laskaridis. Dura 75 minuti, si replica lunedì alle 19.
Ma il lunedì, infatti, promette ancora altre suggestioni tra spy story teatrale e musica. Il 16 giugno alle 20 il Teatro Filodrammatici di Milano porta in scena al teatro Nuovo “Wild. Chi ricorda Edward Snowden?” del drammaturgo britannico Mike Bartlett, traduzione e regia di Bruno Fornasari, con Marta Belloni, Michele Correra ed Enrico Pittaluga.
Ispirato a fatti reali, lo spettacolo racconta la storia di un ex tecnico della Cia, ricercato numero uno al mondo dopo Julian Assange, accusato di aver svelato un sistema di sorveglianza di massa che permetteva alla Nsa americana di spiare chiunque.
Andrew, il protagonista, ospitato in una stanza d’albergo dalla Russia di Putin, che cavalca una ghiotta occasione di apparire liberale e attento alla protezione della privacy dei cittadini di tutto il mondo, riceve la visita separata di due persone, chiamate solo come Uomo e Donna, che gli offrono protezione. Nessuno può essere sicuro della loro onestà.
L’opera (di 100 minuti) esplora l’idea che l’identità individuale sia la prima vittima di un mondo pericolosamente incerto e controllato dalla tecnologia. E pensare che il testo di Bartlett è stato scritto nove anni fa…. Durata 100 minuti.
La voce di Roberta Rossi con il pianoforte di Sebastian Marino saranno protagonisti di “Lisbona-Palermo A/R”, itinerario di andata e ritorno che alle 21.30 nel Cortile delle Carrozze del Palazzo Reale di Napoli (accesso da piazza Plebiscito) traccia il legame profondo che ha unito la musica portoghese a quella della grande tradizione popolare italiana.
Fonti d’ispirazione, Fernando Pessoa e Luigi Pirandello, a disegnare le trame di culture che hanno insospettabili orizzonti di comunicazione e condivisione.
La serata di lunedì 16 al Dopofestival, nel giardino romantico di palazzo Reale (accesso da piazza del Plebiscito), avrà come protagonista alle 22.30 Irene Ferrara. L’ingresso è gratuito, ma su prenotazione attraverso il sito del Campania Teatro Festival e su Eventbrite, dalle 19 dj set a cura di Drop Eventi.

Enchantment. That of Piazza del Plebiscito for the opening of the Campania Teatro Festival on Friday evening. A performance with an evocative scenography, that of the Royal Palace with the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, lit up by colored shades on the facades. But it wasn’t just that.
The performance of the Neapolitan violinist Caterina Bianco with three acrobats (Maria Anzivino, Marianna Moccia and Viola Russo), four bodies suspended in the air was a representation of scenic poetry, as beautiful as a modern fairy tale where the action is a calm collective flight, without hitches and frenzy, where Piazza del Plebiscito extends in all its architectural beauty, contemplating those human sculptures in the air, accompanied by the sweet music of the violin.
The festival spread across the territory now proceeds at a fast pace with a succession of shows. Among these At the Teatro Mercadante, tonight at 9 pm “Lapis Lazuli”, a show for five performers and a dazzling seahorse, conceived and directed by Euripides Laskaridis. It lasts 75 minutes, and will be repeated on Monday at 7 pm.
But on Monday, in fact, it promises even more suggestions between theatrical spy stories and music. On June 16 at 8 pm, the Teatro Filodrammatici in Milan will stage at the Teatro Nuovo “Wild. Who Remembers Edward Snowden?” by the British playwright Mike Bartlett, translated and directed by Bruno Fornasari, with Marta Belloni, Michele Correra and Enrico Pittaluga.
Inspired by real events, the show tells the story of a former CIA technician, the world’s most wanted man after Julian Assange, accused of having revealed a mass surveillance system that allowed the American NSA to spy on anyone.
Andrew, the protagonist, hosted in a hotel room by Putin’s Russia, who rides a golden opportunity to appear liberal and attentive to protecting the privacy of citizens around the world, receives a separate visit from two people, called only as Man and Woman, who offer him protection. No one can be sure of their honesty.
The work (100 minutes) explores the idea that individual identity is the first victim of a dangerously uncertain and technology-controlled world. And to think that Bartlett’s text was written nine years ago…. Duration 100 minutes.
The voice of Roberta Rossi with the piano of Sebastian Marino will be the protagonists of “Lisbona-Palermo A/R”, a round trip itinerary that at 9:30 pm in the Cortile delle Carrozze of the Royal Palace of Naples (access from Piazza Plebiscito) traces the deep bond that has united Portuguese music to that of the great Italian popular tradition.
Sources of inspiration, Fernando Pessoa and Luigi Pirandello, to draw the plots of cultures that have unsuspected horizons of communication and sharing.
The evening of Monday 16 at Dopofestival, in the romantic garden of Palazzo Reale (access from Piazza del Plebiscito), will have as protagonist at 10.30 pm Irene Ferrara. Admission is free, but upon reservation through the Campania Teatro Festival website and on Eventbrite, from 7 pm DJ set by Drop Eventi.
