La grande musica nella sala Scarlatti del Conservatorio di San Pietro a Majella. Venerdì 30 maggio, alle 18 verranno presentate Le sonate di Händel per flauto e clavicembalo eseguite in concerto dai solisti (foto) Tommaso Rossi (al flauto dolce e al flauto traverso barocco) ed Enrico Baiano (al clavicembalo). Omaggio al grande compositore nato 340 anni fa (nel 1685) ad Halle in Germania.
Una serata händeliana che offrirà al pubblico occasione d’ascolto delle sonate in “Si minore per flauto traverso e basso continuo HWV 367 b”, in “Do maggiore per flauto dolce e basso continuo HWV 365”, in “Fa maggiore per flauto dolce e basso continuo HWV 369”. Chiuderà il programma musicale l’esecuzione della “Ciaccona in sol maggiore per clavicembalo HWV 435”.
Brani scelti tra le 11 composizioni che compongono la “track list” del lavoro discografico intitolato “Händel, flute sonatas”, un doppio cd in uscita per l’etichetta Stradivarius (disponibile nei negozi e sulle piattaforme di streaming digitale dal prossimo 10 giugno) che viene annunciato e presentato in questa circostanza.
Le sonate composte da Georg Friedrich Händel per strumento solista si richiamano formalmente alla sonata da chiesa e alla sonata da camera di stile italiano, articolandosi in quattro movimenti principali ai quali si aggiungono anche ritmi di danza, come il minuetto, la giga e la siciliana.

On Friday, the 30th of May, at 6pm will be presented Händel’s sonatas for flute and harpsichord performed in concert by the soloists (photos) Tommaso Rossi (on flute and flute cross baroque) and Enrico Baiano (on harpsichord). Tribute to the great composer born 340 years ago (in 1685) in Halle, Germany.
A Händelian evening that will offer the audience the opportunity to listen to the sonatas in “B minor for flute and bass continuo HWV 367 b”, in “C major for flute and bass continuo HWV 365”, in “F major for flute and bass continuo HWV 369”. The musical program will close with the performance of “Ciaccona in G major for harpsichord HWV 435”.
Songs chosen from the 11 compositions that make up the “track list” of the album entitled “Händel, flute sonatas”, a double CD released for the label Stradivarius (available in stores and on digital streaming platforms from next 10 June) that is announced and presented in this circumstance.
The sonatas composed by Georg Friedrich Händel for solo instrument formally refer to the church sonata and the chamber sonata of Italian style, being divided into four main movements to which are also added dance rhythms, as the minuet, the jig and the sicilian.
