Madre Terra chiama. Anche quest’anno i comune di Pratella, in provincia di Caserta, invita il pubblico a un incontro nel segno dell’erboristeria. (CE) Domenica 15 giugno alle 10 nell’ex scuola primaria di via Nazionale.
Dopo il benvenuto del sindaco, i saluti iniziali con Don Antonio Maione e l’introduzione ai lavori a cura di Renzo Rizzi – erborista, la mattinata proseguirà con la conferenza del professore Ottavio Iommelli (università di Henan di medicina tradizionale cinese) sul tema “L’uomo tra Cielo e Terra: l’arte del vivere” .
Alle 11,30 si partirà per la passeggiata lungo il fiume Lete per riconoscere erbe spontanee, accompagnati da Iommelli e Rizzi. I partecipanti potranno godere di un ambiente ancora naturale e da pochi conosciuto, ricco di fontane con acqua libera da bere. Non mancherà la possibilità di spazi di relax o per un libero pic nic.
Tra le sorprese della giornata, al mattino le vibrazioni delle campane tibetane suonate da Daniele Margiotta e nel primo pomeriggio l’accompagnamento musicale di Gianfranco Coppola; arricchirà ulteriormente la manifestazione il laboratorio di carta a mano per i bambini. Nel primo pomeriggio , fino alle 17, conversazione libera con Maione, Iommelli e Rizzi sul tema “Madre Terra chiama”. Ingresso libero, senza prenotazione.
Per i curiosi, amanti della natura, Pratella è un paesino dell’Alto Casertano – Comunità del Matese – attraversato dal fiume Lete. Il territorio riserva inaspettate piacevoli sorprese, zampillanti fontane di ottima acqua libera da bere, liscia, salata e sulfurea. E ancora, borghi antichi e tanta storia con castelli che ne conservano la memoria. Il luogo, abitato nell’antichità dai Pentri Sanniti, è una scoperta di siti archeologici importanti. Una zona ancora tutta da scoprire.

Mother Earth calls. This year, the municipality of Pratella in the province of Caserta is once again inviting the public to a herbalism-themed meeting. On Sunday the 15th of June at 10 am, the event will take place at the former primary school in Via Nazionale.
Following welcome addresses from the mayor and Don Antonio Maione, Renzo Rizzi, a herbalist, will introduce the proceedings. The morning will then continue with a lecture by Professor Ottavio Iommelli (Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine) on the theme ‘Man between Heaven and Earth: the art of living’.
At 11:30, participants will set off on a walk alongside the Lete River to identify wild herbs, accompanied by Iommelli and Rizzi. Participants will be able to enjoy a natural and little-known environment, rich in fountains providing free drinking water. There will be plenty of space to relax or enjoy a picnic.
The day’s surprises include the vibrations of Tibetan bells played by Daniele Margiotta in the morning and the musical accompaniment of Gianfranco Coppola in the early afternoon. The event will be further enriched by a workshop on making handmade paper for children. From early afternoon until 5 p.m., there will be an opportunity to engage in free conversation with Maione, Iommelli and Rizzi on the theme ‘Mother Earth Calls’. Admission is free and no booking is required.
For those who are curious and love nature, Pratella is a village in the Alto Casertano-Matese community crossed by the River Lete. The area has many pleasant surprises, including gushing fountains of excellent drinking water that is smooth, salty and sulphurous. There are also ancient villages and plenty of history, with castles that preserve the memory. Inhabited in antiquity by the Samnite Pentri, the place is home to important archaeological sites. It is an area yet to be discovered.
