Artisti da tutto il mondo. Saranno a Domicella in provincia di Avellino venerdì 13 e sabato 14 giugno per il progetto Happening under Vesuvio, ideato da Alessia Siniscalchi e dal collettivo Kulturscio’k (attivo a Parigi con progetti multidisciplinari in ambito performativo, visivo e sonoro), in collaborazione con Kulturfactory (via Raffaele Ferrante, 4).
L’iniziativa ha il matronato del Museo Madre ed è molto più di un festival: è un’idea che riunisce nel cuore della terra vesuviana artisti provenienti da tutto il mondo.
Questa esperienza artistica collettiva cambia forma ogni anno, proprio come il territorio vulcanico che ne è scenario: installazioni, video, musica dal vivo, performance e momenti di riflessione condivisa. Omaggio al Vesuvio, al Sud, alla terra e all’essenza femminile, all’incurabilità del femminile, agli anti-profeti e all’abolizione dei confini.
Tra gli artisti con Alessia Siniscalchi: EXTRAPOLO (ex La Famiglia), Maria Mazzella, Thomas Laigle, Imma di Lillo, Francesca Chiacchio, Giovanni Ambrosio, Paul Spera, Antonia Kube, Federica Clarizia, il duo Hylozoic :Desires, Danilo Scarpati, Paulina Mikol, Phil St. George, Didier Leglise, Marco Cappelli, l’urban artist Johnny Camping, Veronica Rastelli, La Casaforte SB,Emanuele Errante.
L’edizione 2025 è dedicata alla memoria dell’avvocato Vincenzo Maria Siniscalchi, personalità visionaria che ha fortemente voluto trasformare il vesuviano in un centro di produzione e trasmissione artistica, promuove soprattutto la libertà di pensiero e espressione.
La residenza Kulturfactory si ispira all’innovazione e alla creatività, all’arte e all’innovazione. Promuove un nuovo modo di concepire l’arte. La scelta di un luogo isolato, remoto, minacciato dalla natura e talvolta impietoso sottolinea la sua indipendenza.
Happening under Vesuvio dà voce alle minoranze, ai rifugiati, ai bambini, ai più fragili, insieme alle voci di chi ha tentato di annullare le differenze e che spesso si è smarrito. Dà spazio a forme d’arte anti-profetiche, a volte scomode, disturbanti, non sempre accolte, ma necessarie per aprire nuovi sguardi sul presente.
Su richiesta sarà possibile usufruire di navette o taxi e trovare alloggi in zona, un’occasione per soggiornare nei dintorni e visitare il Vallo di Lauro, Pompei, i parchi e le aree costiere. Presente un angolo ristoro a cura di Daniele Antignani.

How Domicella offers space for freedom and innovation
Artists from all over the world will be in attendance. On Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th of June, they will be in Domicella, in the province of Avellino, for the Happening under Vesuvius project. This was conceived by Alessia Siniscalchi and the Kulturscio’k collective, who are active in Paris with multidisciplinary projects in the fields of performance, visuals, and sound. The project is being carried out in collaboration with Kulturfactory (via Raffaele Ferrante, 4).
Supported by the Madre Museum, the initiative is much more than a festival; it is an idea that brings artists from around the globe together in the heart of the Vesuvian region.
This ever-changing collective artistic experience mirrors the volcanic territory in which it is set: installations, videos, live music, performances and moments of shared reflection. It is a tribute to Vesuvius, the South, the land, the essence of the feminine, anti-prophets and the abolition of borders.

The 2025 edition is dedicated to the memory of Vincenzo Maria Siniscalchi, a visionary lawyer who was passionate about transforming the Vesuvius area into a centre for artistic production and expression, and promoting freedom of thought.
The Kulturfactory residency programme is inspired by innovation and creativity. It promotes a new approach to art. Its independence is underlined by the choice of an isolated, remote and nature-threatened location, which is sometimes merciless.
Taking place under Vesuvius, it gives a voice to minorities, refugees, children and the most vulnerable, alongside the voices of those who have tried to erase differences and have often gone astray. It provides a platform for unconventional forms of art that are sometimes uncomfortable, disturbing and not universally accepted, but which are essential for offering new perspectives on the present.
Shuttles and taxis are available on request, as is accommodation in the local area. This is an opportunity to explore the surrounding area, including the Vallo di Lauro, Pompeii, parks and coastal areas. There will be a refreshment corner by Daniele Antignani.
