Settembre a pieno ritmo per Palazzo Reale di Napoli. Con le visite al Giardino pensile (sospese durante il periodo estivo) d con cadenza quotidiana (tranne il mercoledì) alle 10 – 11 – 12 – 15 e 16.
Oggi, sabato 6 settembre di scena a Villa Pignatelli Lo Cunto de li Cunti – 390 anni di magia un viaggio itinerante nelle fiabe di Giambattista Basile, in occasione dell’anniversario della prima pubblicazione del capolavoro.
Nella veranda neoclassica della dimora storica della Riviera di Chiaia, sabato alle ore 20.30, Geppy Gleijeses con l’accompagnamento del maestro Vittorio Cataldi al violino, sarà il protagonista di un reading di due testi tratti dalle favole di Basile: “Il Compare” e “Cagliuso”
Il progetto è finanziato dalla direzione generale spettacolo del ministero della cultura e prodotto dalla Società di Produzione Best Live srl, con la direzione artistica di Domenico Basile. La prenotazione è obbligatoria, per massimo 4 persone, inviando una mail con nome, cognome, numero di telefono, numero dei posti richiesti a fiabedelbasile@gmail.com.
I primi 120 prenotati, con il biglietto di ingresso del museo a 3 euro, potranno assistere allo spettacolo e tutti gli altri potranno visitare allo stesso prezzo la dimora storica fino alle dalle 19.30 alle 23.30 con ultimo ingresso alle 22,30
La serata è inserita nell’ambito dell’iniziativa Un sabato da Re, apertura straordinaria serale di Villa Pignatelli che si replicherà per i visitatori anche il 13 e il 20 settembre. A Palazzo Reale la visita notturna è fissata solo per sabato 13 settembre dalle 20 alle 24 (5 euro) con la possibilità di acquistare un biglietto cumulativo (6 euro) per la stessa serata che comprende anche la visita a Villa Pignatelli.
Due i weekend dedicati al Festival della musica barocca realizzato in collaborazione con il Teatro di San Carlo che produce le operette settecentesche che andranno in scena nel Teatro di Corte di Palazzo Reale: il 12 e 13 settembre (“La Dama Spagnola e Il Cavalier Romano”) e il 19 e 20 settembre (“L’Impresario delle Canarie” e “Rosicca e Morano”). I biglietti si acquistano su www.vivaticket.com o alla biglietteria del Teatro di San Carlo.
Sabato 20 settembre nell’ambito dell’iniziativa Il Sabato dei depositi, che si svolge ogni terzo sabato del mese,sono in programma due visite guidate (ore 10.00 e ore 11.30 al costo di 5 euro con prenotazione obbligatoria) attraverso luoghi abitualmente non accessibili al pubblico.
Questo mese la visita sarà al Deposito di opere d’arte e Laboratorio di restauro, al piano ammezzato del Palazzo Reale dove i visitatori saranno guidati dal personale in un percorso della durata di 1 ora e 30 minuti.
Nel fine settimana del 27 e 28 settembre saranno celebrate le Giornate europee del patrimonio che quest’anno hanno come tema “L’Architettura: l’arte di costruire”. Oltre alla visita del Belvedere e del percorso attraverso i sottotetti del Palazzo, straordinariamente aperti per questa occasione sabato e domenica mattina, sarà possibile partecipare a visite guidate nei cantieri in corso della Cappella Reale e dei Giardini (attualmente il Giardino Romantico è chiuso per restauro).
La sera, sia Palazzo Reale, con ingresso da Piazza Trieste e Trento, sia Villa Pignatelli saranno aperti in notturna con un biglietto di ingresso al costo simbolico di 1 euro.
Royal Palace & Villa Pignatelli: September between Baroque music and Basile’s fairy tales
September is in full swing at the Royal Palace of Naples. Visits to the Hanging Gardens, which were suspended during the summer, are available every day (except Wednesdays) at 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 3 pm and 4 pm.
Today, Saturday the 6th of September, Villa Pignatelli is hosting ‘Lo Cunto de li Cunti – 390 Years of Magic’, a journey through the fairy tales of Giambattista Basile to celebrate the anniversary of the publication of his masterpiece.
On Saturday at 8.30 pm, on the neoclassical veranda of the historic residence on the Riviera di Chiaia, Geppy Gleijeses will be the protagonist of a reading of two texts taken from Basile’s fairy tales, accompanied by maestro Vittorio Cataldi on the violin: ‘Il Compare’ and ‘Cagliuso’.
This project has been funded by the Directorate-General for Performing Arts at the Ministry of Culture, and is being produced by the company Best Live Srl. The artistic director is Domenico Basile. Reservations for a maximum of four people can be made by sending an email with your name, surname, telephone number and required number of seats to fiabedelbasile@gmail.com.
The evening is part of the “Un Sabato da Re” (A Royal Saturday) initiative, which offers special evening openings of Villa Pignatelli on September the 13th and 20th. The Royal Palace’s night visit is only scheduled for Saturday, September thirteenth, from 8 p.m. to midnight (€5). There is an option to purchase a combined ticket (€6) for the same evening, which includes a visit to Villa Pignatelli.
Two weekends are dedicated to the Baroque Music Festival, organized in collaboration with the Teatro di San Carlo. In addition to visiting the Belvedere and touring the attics of the Palace, which will be open to the public on Saturday and Sunday mornings for this special occasion, visitors will be able to take guided tours of the ongoing construction sites at the Royal Chapel and the Royal Theatre.
