Il flusso di coscienza è per lei una presenza costante. Un torrente in cui scorrono istinti che poi approfondisce attraverso la creatività. Attivando quasi automaticamente pensieri legati al fare. Una volta aperta la strada, comincia a percorrerla partendo da immagini o da parole.
Questo è il sentiero battuto dall’artista napoletana Carla Viparelli (dal profilo internazionale), alimentato dalla sua formazione filosofica. Con un tocco poetico ispirato alla percezione della realtà.
Bussa al cielo e ascolta il suono è una frase-invito al pubblico a immergersi nel suo universo, ma anche il titolo del trittico che espone nella prossima mostra Terra fragile che si inaugura alla galleria Port’Alba, giovedì 28 maggio (galleriaportalba@gmail.com) alle 18,30.
Un’opera site-specific realizzata per Festas 2026 Nexus – Festival di Arte & Scienza che simbolicamente rimanda all’architettura sacra con i due elementi laterali che si ergono come colonne di un tempio arcaico.
Al centro dell’esposizione a Port’Alba il legame profondo tra uomo e natura dove il linguaggio pittorico suggerisce paesaggi mentali: chi guarda, entra in contatto con l’immaginario, sprofondando in affascinanti e armoniche spirali emotive. Ascoltando così l’anima dell’artista che evoca memorie, capaci di costruire altre forme e nuovi equilibri, guidata da una sorta di pilota automatico.
Anche il lavoro Tu e la Terra siete Uno si concentra sul rapporto tra essere umano e ambiente naturale: abbracciare la natura significa ritrovare se stessi e la possibilità di un altro futuro.
Mentre La Fonte della Vita su legno propone geometrie di frammenti alfabetici, tracce antiche di codici in costante metamorfosi.
Carla Viparelli (classe 1959) vive e lavora a Napoli e Maratea, maturando la propria evoluzione quotidiana tra il caos urbano e la quiete contemplativa di un luogo forgiato nella bellezza, innescando armonie vitali.
Questo, il principio che accompagna i suoi passi: «Credo che l’arte abbia in sé un potenziale enorme perché è in grado di attivare connessioni ben oltre l’orizzonte dell’esperienza individuale e cosciente di ognuno di noi. È magica proprio per questo. guaritrice proprio per questo. È in grado di creare comunità proprio per questo. L’importante è che le ragioni della creazione siano spassionate, disinteressate, gratuite; ma altresì necessarie e fondate su un principio di verità e di necessità espressiva».

“Knock on the sky and listen to the sound” is a phrase that invites the public to immerse themselves in her universe, but also the title of the triptych she will be exhibiting in the upcoming exhibition at the Terra Fragile gallery, which opens at the Port’Alba gallery on Thursday, May 28, Port’Alba di Napoli, 30 (galleriaportalba@gmail.com) at 6:30 pm.

At the heart of the exhibition at Port’Alba is the profound connection between humanity and nature, where the pictorial language suggests mental landscapes: the viewer connects with the imagination, sinking into fascinating and harmonious emotional spirals. Thus, listening to the artist’s soul, which evokes memories capable of constructing other forms and new balances, guided by a sort of autopilot.
The work “You and the Earth Are One” also focuses on the relationship between humans and the natural environment: embracing nature means rediscovering oneself and the possibility of another future.
While “The Source of Life” on wood offers geometrical fragments of alphabets, ancient traces of constantly metamorphosing codes.
Carla Viparelli (born in 1959) lives and works in Naples and Maratea, developing her daily evolution between the urban chaos and the contemplative quiet of a place forged in beauty, triggering vital harmonies.
This is the principle that guides her steps: “I believe art has enormous potential because it can activate connections far beyond the horizon of each of our individual and conscious experiences. It is magical precisely for this reason. It is healing precisely for this reason. It can create community precisely for this reason. The important thing is that the reasons for creation are dispassionate, disinterested, gratuitous; but also necessary and grounded in a principle of truth and expressive necessity.”
