Musica live, talk e cultura del territorio. Torna il Rufra Festival, l’appuntamento musicale e culturale a Rofrano, il borgo dell’entroterra cilentano che dal 21 al 22 agosto ospiterà la quinta edizione della manifestazione. Nell’area Enel X Way e in Piazza San Giovanni,
“Divenire” è il tema che accompagnerà l’intero programma tra concerti, incontri e iniziative diffuse nel paese. Promosso e organizzato dall’associazione Cilento Youth Union, ha l’obiettivo di dare spazio alla scena musicale indipendente italiana (foto) e, allo stesso tempo, di valorizzare Rofrano e il territorio circostante attraverso la musica e la cultura.
Anche quest’anno l’ingresso è libero e gratuito, confermando lo spazio aperto come manifesto dell’iniziativa. Sul palco dell’Area Enel X Way, in Via Pastena, si alterneranno nei due giorni alcuni tra i nomi più interessanti della scena musicale indipendente italiana: Gioia Lucia, Amore Audio, Studio Murena, Lauryyn, Giovanni Ti Amo e Ugo Crepa, tra gli altri.
Il programma musicale sarà anticipato, nel pomeriggio, da due momenti di incontro e riflessione in Piazza San Giovanni, nel cuore del centro storico: il 21 agosto, Francesco Di Bella, tra le voci più riconoscibili della canzone d’autore italiana, con l’incontro “La Forma del Vento”; mentre il 22 agosto toccherà a Tonico 70, figura storica della cultura hip hop, funk e soul del territorio con “Soglie Sonore”, un incontro moderato da Matteo Zagaria di Emersa. Due appuntamenti pensati per raccontare la musica non solo come intrattenimento, ma come strumento di memoria, impegno civile e ascolto consapevole.
Artisti e ospiti alloggeranno infatti in case e appartamenti di Rofrano, messi a disposizione dalla comunità locale. Una modalità di accoglienza che rafforza il legame tra il festival e il territorio, trasformando l’ospitalità in un’occasione di incontro e di esperienza totale tra chi vive Rofrano e chi la raggiunge per la manifestazione.

Cilento/Rufra Festival: a space dedicated to independent Italian music (21–22 August)
Live music, talks and local culture. The Rufra Festival is back – the musical and cultural happening in Rofrano, the village in the Cilento hinterland which will host the fifth edition of the event from the 21st to the 22nd of August. In the Enel X Way area and in Piazza San Giovanni,
‘Divenire’ is the theme that will run through the entire programme, featuring concerts, talks and events taking place throughout the village. Promoted and organised by the Cilento Youth Union association, it aims to provide a platform for the Italian independent music scene (photo) whilst, at the same time, promoting Rofrano and the surrounding area through music and culture.
Once again this year, entry is free of charge, reaffirming the open-air format as the hallmark of the initiative. Over the two days, the stage in the Enel X Way area, on Via Pastena, will host some of the most exciting names on the Italian independent music scene: Gioia Lucia, Amore Audio, Studio Murena, Lauryyn, Giovanni Ti Amo and Ugo Crepa, amongst others.
The musical programme will be preceded, in the afternoon, by two sessions of discussion and reflection in Piazza San Giovanni, in the heart of the historic centre: on the 21st August, Francesco Di Bella, one of the most recognisable voices in Italian singer-songwriting, will take part in the event ‘La Forma del Vento’; whilst on the 22nd August, it will be the turn of Tonico 70, a leading figure in the local hip-hop, funk and soul scene, with ‘Soglie Sonore’, a discussion moderated by Matteo Zagaria of Emersa. These two events are designed to present music not merely as entertainment, but as a tool for remembrance, civic engagement and mindful listening.
Artists and guests will, in fact, be staying in houses and flats in Rofrano, made available by the local community. This approach to hospitality strengthens the bond between the festival and the local area, transforming hospitality into an opportunity for interaction and a holistic experience between those who live in Rofrano and those visiting for the event.
