“I don’t care, I am invisible”. Claudia Piscitelli aggiunge quattro nuove opere (foto) alla mostra (curata da Barbara Crespigni) che espone alla Fondazione Mondragone, museo della moda di Napoli, e che è stata prorogata fino al 10 ottobre.
I lavori La mistica/ The mystic- Vestita-Non vestita/Dressed-Undressed- Nuda/Naked- La Regina/ The Queen arricchiscono il viaggio nell’identità femminile. Uno di questi entrerà a far parte della collezione permanente del museo.
Spiega Piscitelli: «È un progetto che vive, i vestiti vuoti adesso hanno un corpo in carne e ossa e al centro del cerchio formato dalle mie opere c’è la donna nuda, dove il femminile ritrova la sua essenza».
Un cerchio magico metaforico e reale in cui si mostrano vari archetipi della psicologia femminile, aprendo, tuttavia, a nuove dimensioni della psiche.
Un passo in avanti in questo secondo capitolo della mostra, ai vestiti vuoti si aggiunge un corpo nudo che racchiude ogni bellezza e rappresenta lo scrigno da cui partire e a cui ritornare. Mentre le immagini e le opere sono accompagnate dai pensieri luminosi dell’artista.
Sono frasi dirette a chi guarda e legge perché possa scoprire afferrare significati e andare oltre. I vestiti rappresentano possibilità, risposte comportamentali alla seduzione che l’uomo esercita sulla donna. L’esposizione attraverso i suoi due capitoli, quello di maggio e quello di settembre, mostra la profondità dell’approccio al mondo interiore femminile declinandolo in un percorso visivo e narrativo di grande magnetismo.
Fashion Museum / Mondragone Foundation: a new chapter for Claudia Piscitelli’s exhibition dedicated to the female psyche. Amid empty garments, the essence of a naked body shines through
“I don’t care, I am invisible.” Claudia Piscitelli adds four new works to the exhibition (curated by Barbara Crespigni) on view at the Fondazione Mondragone, Naples’ fashion museum, which has been extended through the 10th of October.
The works La mistica / The Mystic, Vestita-Non vestita / Dressed-Undressed, Nuda / Naked, and La Regina / The Queen enrich the exploration of female identity. One of these will become part of the museum’s permanent collection.
Piscitelli explains: “It’s a living project; the empty garments now have a body of flesh and blood, and at the center of the circle formed by my works stands the naked woman, where the feminine rediscovers its essence.”
A metaphorical and real magic circle in which various archetypes of the female psyche are revealed, while also opening up new dimensions of the psyche.
A step forward in this second chapter of the exhibition: the empty garments are joined by a naked body that embodies all beauty and represents the treasure chest from which to set out and to which to return. Meanwhile, the images and works are accompanied by the artist’s luminous reflections.
These phrases are directed at the viewer and reader so that they may discover and grasp meanings and go beyond them. The garments represent possibilities—behavioral responses to the seduction that men exert on women.
Through its two chapters—one in May and one in September—the exhibition reveals the depth of its approach to the inner world of women, unfolding it in a visual and narrative journey of great magnetism.
