In campo per sostenere la campagna di prevenzione promossa da Komen Italia comitato Campania. Si schiera contro la lotta ai tumori al seno anche la scuola militare Nunziatella che si inserisce così tra i protagonisti della Race for the cure Napoli 2026, in programma dal 9 all’11 ottobre, sul lungomare Caracciolo, alla Rotonda Diaz.
E lunedì 28 settembre, alle 19, sarà proprio la chiesa della Nunziatella a ospitare un concerto benefico per raccogliere fondi da destinare alle attività di prevenzione e ai progetti di Komen Italia. L’iniziativa, promossa dal Comando della scuola, sarà realizzata con l’orchestra “I Filarmonici di Napoli” e l’associazione “Santa Maria di Loreto”.
Alla serata prenderanno parte la presidente di Komen Italia – Comitato Regionale Campania, Marzia Imperiali di Francavilla, la responsabile delle relazioni esterne Daniela Chiariello, esponenti del mondo della sanità e numerose Donne in rosa, donne che hanno affrontato o stanno affrontando un tumore del seno.
Una sinergia che non si ferma qui: gli allievi saranno protagonisti del Villaggio della Race, partecipando con attività sportive dimostrative.
Come sottolinea il colonnello Alberto Valent, comandante della scuola militare, la Nunziatella è scuola di vita che insegna il valore della solidarietà e dell’impegno civile alle nuove generazioni, classe dirigente di domani.
Conclude la presidente Komen Campania, Marzia Imperiali di Francavilla: «La collaborazione con la Nunziatella rappresenta per noi un incontro di grande valore. Portare la cultura della prevenzione tra i giovani significa costruire oggi una società più consapevole e attenta alla salute».
Sarà un momento importante d’incontro tra istituzioni, mondo sanitario e giovani. Nel segno della vita che trionferà nelle quattro stagioni di Vivaldi cui è dedicato il concerto.

Komen Campania/Race for the Cure Naples: Nunziatella joins the cause. In the chapel of the military academy, a concert dedicated to Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, a celebration of life
On the ground to support the prevention campaign promoted by the Campania branch of Komen Italia. The Nunziatella Military Academy is also joining the fight against breast cancer, thus taking its place amongst the key participants in the Race for the Cure Naples 2026, scheduled from the 9th to the 11th of October along the Lungomare Caracciolo Rotonda Diaz.
And on Monday the 28th of September, at 7 pm, the Nunziatella church itself will host a charity concert to raise funds for Komen Italia’s prevention activities and projects. The initiative, organised by the School’s Command, will be held in collaboration with the orchestra ‘I Filarmonici di Napoli’ and the association ‘Santa Maria di Loreto’.
The evening will be attended by the president of Komen Italia – Campania Regional Committee, Marzia Imperiali di Francavilla; the head of external relations, Daniela Chiariello; representatives from the healthcare sector; and numerous ‘Donne in Rosa’ – women who have faced or are currently facing breast cancer.
This collaboration does not stop there: cadets from the Military Academy will play a leading role at the Race Village, taking part in sporting demonstrations.
As a school of life, the Nunziatella instils the values of solidarity and civic engagement – as emphasised by Colonel Alberto Valent, Commandant of the Military Academy – in the younger generations who will form tomorrow’s leadership.
Marzia Imperiali di Francavilla, President of Komen Campania, concludes: ‘For us, the collaboration with the Nunziatella is a partnership of great value. Promoting a culture of prevention amongst young people means building, today, a society that is more aware and attentive to health.
