La creatività all’aperto. Così lo spazio antistante alla stazione centrale di Napoli si trasforma in una “Bella piazza” (foto) dedicata alla cittadinanza, in ogni fascia di età, tra laboratori creativi, letture, musica e teatro, costruito insieme a una rete di associazioni, cooperative e realtà artistiche partenopee.
Dal 5 dicembre all’8 gennaio, un programma sostenuto dalla Fondazione Con il Sud insieme a una rete di altri enti e fondazioni. Alcune delle attività che saranno realizzate in piazza sono promosse e finanziate dal Comune di Napoli nell’ambito del progetto “Altri Natali”.
Si comincia conBreak & Christmas vibes, laboratorio a cura di Gino Rota per i ragazzi dai 9 ai 14 anni, che anima i pomeriggi di venerdì 5, lunedì 8, martedì 9, mercoledì 10 e giovedì 11 dicembre dalle 15:30 alle 17:30. Domenica 7 dicembre, dalle 10:00 alle 14:00, è invece la Fundacion San Giuseppe/Biblioteca dell’Assunzione porta in piazza letture, laboratorio di disegno e distribuzione di regali, per una mattinata dedicata al libro e al gioco condiviso.
Da venerdì 12 a domenica 14 dicembre la Cavea ospita “Garibaldi Urban Orchestra”, tre giornate di musica e performance curate da Pessoa Luna Park ed Est(ra)Moenia: venerdì 12 dalle 12 alle 20:30, sabato 13 dalle 12:00 alle 17:30, domenica 14 dalle 11:30 alle 17:30, con un programma dettagliato che sarà svelato a partire dal 5 dicembre.
Lunedì 15 dicembre, omaggio a Stefano Benni, una lettura condivisa con le scuole in vari luoghi della piazza a cura di A Voce Alta ma muoverà i primi passo anche “Allarme nel presepe”, il laboratorio dell’associazione culturale Vienterrant per bambini dai 6 agli 11 anni che torna tutti i pomeriggi dal 15 al 19 dicembre dalle 15:30 alle 17:30.
Intorno a questo percorso si innestano momenti di spettacolo: martedì 16 dicembre alle 17:00 “Capoeira Natal e Samba de Roda” con CapoeiraMuzenza Italia, giovedì 18 dicembre alle 17:00 “Figaro, il Giocoliere del Tempo” con il Bus Theater, entrambi pensati per bambini dai 5 ai 14 anni.
Venerdì 19 dicembre, dalle 9:30 alle 12:30, debutta“Natali intrecciati”, laboratorio a cura di Dedalus Cooperativa sociale per bambini dai 6 agli 11 anni, che tornerà poi lunedì 22, martedì 23, lunedì 29 e martedì 30 dicembre e ancora lunedì 5 gennaio 2026 nella stessa fascia oraria, consolidando un percorso continuativo di partecipazione.
Sabato 20 dicembre, alle 18:00, Portineria Garibaldi ospita“Rewind”, spettacolo per bambini dai 4 ai 14 anni a cura di Namnésia con Caterina Spezzaferri e Sarà Lotta, mentre domenica 21 dicembre è in programma una kermesse natalizia a cura di Casba Cooperativa Sociale.
Martedì 23 dicembre, alle 17 Teatro35 porta in piazza“Cartavelina – il calciatore che sfidò il nazismo”, con Gaetano Coccia e la regia di Davide Ferrari, pensato per ragazzi dagli 11 ai 14 anni.
Sabato 27 dicembre, alle 17, arrivano“Storie da sgranchire”, spettacolo della compagnia BisLuck con performer della GiuliArt, ideato da Noemi Giulia Fabiano e Virginia De Marco e dedicato ai bambini dai 3 ai 7 anni. Lunedì 29 dicembre il programma al mattino “Natali intrecciati” e alle 17:00 “Ding Dong Happynewyar (dancehall)” a cura di SunWeed per bambini dai 3 ai 14 anni, mentre martedì 30 dicembre si chiude l’anno con l’ultima mattinata del laboratorio “Natali intrecciati”.
Il nuovo anno si apre venerdì 2 gennaio alle 17 con “Colapisci – concerto per bambini” a cura di Massimo Ferrante, mentre sabato 3 alle 11 sarà presentata “La leggenda dell’albero di Natale”, spettacolo dell’associazione Dateci le ali per bambini dai 4 ai 12 anni.
Lunedì 5 gennaio, dalle 9:30 alle 12:30, ultimo appuntamento con “Natali intrecciati” di Dedalus Cooperativa sociale, mentre martedì 6 gennaio alle 11 tocca a “Sri Ridma” a cura di Sri Ridma Dance Academy. Chiude “Ka ya ma Kan”, giovedì 8 gennaio alle 17 con regia e interpretazione di Ornar Suleiman, per bambini dai 5 ai 12 anni.
Piazza Garibaldi/ Music and theatre readings to bring light back to the city: Christmas becomes an occasion of beauty for citizens and tourists alike. From the 5th of December to the 8th of January
Outdoor creativity. The space in front of Naples Central Station is being transformed into a ‘beautiful square’ dedicated to citizens of all ages, with creative workshops, readings, music and theatre, built together with a network of Neapolitan associations, cooperatives and artistic organisations.
From the 5th of December to the 8th of January, a programme supported by the Fondazione Con il Sud together with a network of other organisations and foundations. Some of the activities that will take place in the square are promoted and funded by the Municipality of Naples as part of the “Altri Natali” project.
It begins with Break & Christmas vibes, a workshop organised by Gino Rota for children aged 9 to 14, which will enliven the afternoons of Friday the 5th, Monday the 8th, Tuesday the 9th, Wednesday the 10th and Thursday the 11th of December from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. On Sunday the 7th of December, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Fundacion San Giuseppe/Biblioteca dell’Assunzione will bring readings, a drawing workshop and gift distribution to the square for a morning dedicated to books and shared games.
From Friday the 12th to Sunday the 14th of December, the Cavea will host ‘Garibaldi Urban Orchestra’, three days of music and performances curated by Pessoa Luna Park and Est(ra)Moenia: Friday the 12th from 12:00 to 8:30 p.m., Saturday the 13th from 12:00 to 5:30 p.m., Sunday the 14th from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a detailed programme to be revealed starting on the 5th of December.
On Monday the 15th of December, there will be a tribute to Stefano Benni, a reading shared with schools in various locations around the square, curated by A Voce Alta. Allarme nel presepe (Alarm in the Nativity Scene) will also take its first steps, the workshop organised by the cultural association Vienterrant for children aged 6 to 11, which will take place every afternoon from 15 to 19 December from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.
This programme will be accompanied by performances: on Tuesday the 16th of December at 5:00 p.m., “Capoeira Natal e Samba de Roda” with CapoeiraMuzenza Italia, and on Thursday the 18th of December at 5:00 p.m., “Figaro, il Giocoliere del Tempo” with the Bus Theater, both designed for children aged 5 to 14.
On Friday the19th of December, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, “Natali intrecciati” (Intertwined Christmases) will make its debut. a workshop organised by Dedalus Cooperativa sociale for children aged 6 to 11, which will then return on Monday the 22nd, Tuesday the 23rd, Monday the 29th and Tuesday the 30th of December, and again on Monday the 5th of January 2026 at the same time, consolidating a continuous path of participation.
On Saturday the 20 of December, at 6:00 p.m., Portineria Garibaldi will host ‘Rewind,’ a show for children aged 4 to 14 organised by Namnésia with Caterina Spezzaferri and Sarà Lotta, while on Sunday the 21 of December, a Christmas festival organised by Casba Cooperativa Sociale is scheduled.
On Tuesday the 23rd of December, at 5 p.m., Teatro35 brings “Cartavelina – il calciatore che sfidò il nazismo” (Cartavelina – the footballer who challenged Nazism) to the square, with Gaetano Coccia and directed by Davide Ferrari, designed for children aged 11 to 14.
On Saturday the 27th of December, at 5 pm, “Storie da sgranchire” (Stories to stretch out) arrives, a show by the BisLuck company with performers from GiuliArt, conceived by Noemi Giulia Fabiano and Virginia De Marco and dedicated to children aged 3 to 7. On Monday the 29th of December, the morning programme features “Natali intrecciati” (Intertwined Christmases) and at 5 pm “Ding Dong Happynewyar (dancehall)” by SunWeed for children aged 3 to 14, while on Tuesday the 30th of December, the year closes with the last morning of the “Natali intrecciati” workshop.
The new year kicks off on Friday, the 2nd of January at 5 p.m. with ‘Colapisci – concerto per bambini’ (Colapisci – concert for children) by Massimo Ferrante, while on Saturday, the 3rd at 11 a.m., ‘La leggenda dell’albero di Natale’ (The Legend of the Christmas Tree) will be presented, a show by the Dateci le ali association for children aged 4 to 12.
On Monday, the 5th of January, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., there will be the last appointment with ‘Natali intrecciati’ by Dedalus Cooperativa sociale, while on Tuesday, the 6th of January, at 11 a.m., it will be the turn of ‘Sri Ridma’ by Sri Ridma Dance Academy. The festival will close with “Ka ya ma Kan” on Thursday the 8th of January at 5 p.m., directed and performed by Ornar Suleiman, for children aged 5 to 12.
