Mario Martone apre il Cineforum Arci Movie a Napoli. Protagonista sarà, infatti, il suo film, “Fuori’ sulla vita di Goliarda Sapienza, una delle più grandi voci della letteratura italiana del Novecento che negli anni Ottanta finisce in carcere per aver rubato dei gioielli. Due le proiezioni a ingresso gratuito, mercoledì 5 novembre alle 18 e alle 21 al Cinema Pierrot, via De Meis 58, Ponticelli.
Appuntamento speciale per la rassegna che compie 35 anni. L’opera del regista napoletano, che sarà presente in sala, ha nel cast Valeria Golino, Matilda De Angelis e Elodie.
Martone, che ha esordito nel 1992 con “Morte di un matematico napoletano”, vincitore del Gran Premio della Giuria a Venezia, è regista di film di particolare spessore e successo tra cui “Il giovane favoloso” e “Qui rido io”. Regista anche in teatro e nella lirica, ha realizzato numerose produzioni nei principali teatri italiani e internazionali.
Il Cineforum Arci Movie, con il contributo della Regione Campania e della Film Commission della Regione Campania, porterà venticinque film da novembre a maggio nella sala di via De Meis 58 insieme a registi, attori e altri protagonisti del mondo del cinema, dello spettacolo e della cultura.
Quattro proiezioni la settimana, ogni martedì e mercoledì, sempre alle ore 18 e alle 21. L’edizione 2025/2026 prevede un abbonamento di 50 euro e una tessera giovani (fino a 30 anni) a 25 euro: è possibile ottenere la tessera dal lunedì al venerdì, dalle ore 10 alle 12, al Cinema Pierrot in via De Meis 58 e durante le serate di proiezione del cineforum.

Mario Martone opens the Cineforum Arci Movie in Naples. The protagonist will be his film, ‘Fuori’ (Outside), about the life of Goliarda Sapienza, one of the greatest voices of 20th-century Italian literature, who ended up in prison in the 1980s for stealing jewellery. There will be two free screenings on Wednesday the 5th of November at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the Cinema Pierrot, Via De Meis 58, Ponticelli.
This is a special event for the festival, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary. The film by the Neapolitan director, who will be present at the screening, stars Valeria Golino, Matilda De Angelis and Elodie.
Martone, who made his debut in 1992 with “Death of a Neapolitan Mathematician”, winner of the Grand Jury Prize in Venice, is the director of films of particular depth and success, including “Il giovane favoloso” and “Qui rido io”. Also a director in theatre and opera, he has produced numerous productions in major Italian and international theatres.
The Cineforum Arci Movie, with the contribution of the Campania Region and the Campania Region Film Commission, will bring twenty-five films from November to May to the cinema in Via De Meis 58, together with directors, actors and other leading figures from the world of cinema, entertainment and culture.
Four screenings per week, every Tuesday and Wednesday, always at 6pm and 9pm. The 2025/2026 edition offers a season ticket for €50 and a youth card (up to 30 years of age) for €25: the card can be obtained from Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Cinema Pierrot in Via De Meis 58 and during the film club screening evenings.
