La Reggia di Caserta s’illumina di nuovo di Un’Estate da re. Dal 19 luglio la n nona edizione della rassegna tra le emozioni della grande musica sinfonica e d’autore, l’eleganza della danza e la potenza dell’opera.
Si parte il 19 luglio con Toni Servillo che leggerà quattro sonetti attribuiti ad Antonio Vivaldi, affiancato dai musicisti dell’Accademia Barocca di Santa Cecilia e da Giovanni Andrea Zanon, in qualità di violino solista e concertatore, in un concerto-omaggio all’illustre compositore veneziano – tra i massimi esponenti del barocco musicale – con l’esecuzione de La tempesta di mare e Le quattro stagioni.
Doppio appuntamento, il 23 e 25 luglio, con “La traviata” di Giuseppe Verdi, uno dei capolavori assoluti del repertorio operistico, in una produzione scenica di rilievo internazionale. L’Orchestra filarmonica del Teatro “G. Verdi” di Salerno (foto) sarà diretta dal Maestro Daniel Oren, con la partecipazione del soprano Gilda Fiume, del tenore Stefan Pop e del baritono Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar.
Il cartellone prosegue il 27 luglio con Valery Gergiev che dirigerà l’Orchestra filarmonica del Teatro “G. Verdi” di Salerno e i solisti dell’Orchestra del Teatro Mariinskij di San Pietroburgo, nell’esecuzione de l’Overture (La Forza del destino, G. Verdi), la Sinfonia n.5 in Mi minore Op. 64 di Pëtr Il’ič Čajkovskij, Bolero di Maurice Ravel.
La grande danza approda alla Reggia di Caserta il 30 luglio con La gioia di danzare, spettacolo prodotto da Artedanzasrl, ideato e diretto dalla coppia più luminosa del balletto italiano: Nicoletta Manni e Timofej Andrijashenko, Étoile e Primo Ballerino del Teatro alla Scala di Milano. Un viaggio tra i capolavori immortali del repertorio classico, da Carmen al Lago dei Cigni, dal Corsaro al Grand Pas Classique, intrecciati a brani contemporanei di grande impatto.
Chiude Edoardo Bennato che proporrà brani vecchi e nuovi, segnati da uno stile inconfondibile e da un mix di influenze che lo rendono il capostipite di una generazione di artisti fuori dagli schemi. Tutti gli spettacoli saranno ospitati nel Primo Cortile del Complesso vanvitelliano e inizieranno alle 21.

Royal Palace of Caserta/ A king’s summer with the power of opera (La Traviata). But there’s also Edoardo Bennato
The Royal Palace of Caserta lights up again with Un’estate da re (A king’s summer). From July 19th to July 30 the ninth edition of the festival between the emotions of great symphonic and authorial music, the elegance of dance and the power of opera.
It starts on July 19th with Toni Servillo who will read four sonnets attributed to Antonio Vivaldi, accompanied by the musicians of the Accademia Barocca di Santa Cecilia and Giovanni Andrea Zanon, as solo violin and conductor, in a concert-tribute to the illustrious Venetian composer – among the greatest exponents of Baroque music – with the performance of La tempesta di mare and Le quattro stagioni (The Sea Storm and The Four Seasons).
Double appointment, on July 23rd and 25th, with “La traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi, one of the absolute masterpieces of the operatic repertoire, in a stage production of international importance. The Philharmonic Orchestra of the “G. Great dance arrives at the Royal Palace of Caserta on July 30 with La gioia di danzare, a show produced by Artedanzasrl, conceived and directed by the most brilliant couple in Italian ballet: Nicoletta Manni and Timofej Andrijashenko, Étoile and First Dancer of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. A journey through the immortal masterpieces of the classical repertoire, from Carmen to Swan Lake, from Corsaro to Grand Pas Classique, intertwined with contemporary pieces of great impact.
On July 31st closing the event is Edoardo Bennato who will propose old and new songs, marked by an unmistakable style and a mix of influences that make him the founder of a generation of artists outside the box. All the shows will be hosted in the First Courtyard of the Vanvitellian Complex and will start at 9 pm.
