Napoli, città inclusiva e sostenibile. Al via il I International Symposium on temperate tree nuts, sulla produzione di frutta a guscio: il servizio di catering sarà affidato a giovani con disabilità cognitive e comportamentali.
Organizzato da Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, di Torino e di Palermo, riunirà esperti da tutto il mondo per discutere su sfide e opportunità del settore, con un’attenzione particolare alle potenzialità di Napoli come città di innovazione e crescita sostenibile. La scelta della città partenopea sottolinea infatti il suo crescente impegno nei temi della sostenibilità ambientale, sociale ed economica.
Non solo ricerca scientifica: il Simposio sarà anche un’occasione per promuovere inclusione e responsabilità sociale attraverso il team di Laura Bistrot insieme ai ragazzi in formazione dell’associazione Si può dare di più, realtà impegnata dal 2014 nel coinvolgimento professionale giovanile con persone che hanno disabilità.
Spiega Chiara Cirillo del dipartimento di ggraria dell’ateneo federiciano (a Portici): «Creare opportunità concrete per questi ragazzi e offrire soddisfazione alle famiglie è un piacere, ma anche un dovere verso la nostra società. Spero possa diventare un esempio virtuoso».
L’esperienza lavorativa si realizza grazie a un percorso formativo mirato: il corso di Sala dell’associazione, che sviluppa memoria, attenzione e capacità relazionali, ha fornito ai ragazzi le competenze necessarie per operare in un contesto professionale.
Dal 2014, Si può dare di più lavora per promuovere l’inserimento sociale e professionale di giovani con disabilità cognitive e comportamentali, offrendo percorsi formativi personalizzati e opportunità di lavoro in contesti reali.

Naples is an inclusive and sustainable city. The first International Symposium on Temperate Tree Nuts is about to begin. The symposium will focus on nut production, and catering services will be provided by young people with cognitive and behavioral disabilities.
The symposium is organized by the University of Naples Federico II, the University of Turin, and the University of Palermo. It will bring together experts from around the world to discuss challenges and opportunities in the sector. There will be a particular focus on Naples’ potential as a city of innovation and sustainable growth. The selection of Naples underscores the city’s increasing dedication to environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
The symposium will not only promote scientific research, but also inclusion and social responsibility. The Laura Bistrot team will collaborate with young people in training at the Si può dare dipPiù association, which has been involved since 2014 in the professional development of young people with disabilities.
Chiara Cirillo, from the Department of Agriculture at the University of Naples Federico II in Portici, explains: “Creating concrete opportunities for these young people and offering satisfaction to their families is a pleasure, but also a duty toward our society. I hope it can become a virtuous example.”
Work experience is achieved through a targeted training programme: the association’s Sala course, which develops memory, attention and interpersonal skills, has provided young people with the skills they need to work in a professional environment.
Since 2014, Si può dare di più has been working to promote the social and professional integration of young people with cognitive and behavioural disabilities, offering personalised training programmes and job opportunities in real-life.
