“Quattro scuole per un robot”. Avvicinare i giovani al mondo dell’ingegneria per far conoscere le infinite possibilità di questo affascinante mondo e farlo attraverso il gioco e l’interazione: è la sfida che il dipartimento di ingegneria dell’Università campana Luigi Vanvitelli ha organizzato per gli studenti delle scuole di Aversa.
Un modo nuovo di raccontare la facoltà ai giovani: nell’ambito del Piano di Orientamento e Tutorato 2024-2025, giornata conclusiva del contest “4 scuole x 1 robot”, nell’aulario di via Michelangelo. La gara quindi si svolgerà i cortile cortile, nell’edificio sotto il famoso arco dell’Annunziata. L’appuntamento è alle 9, venerdì 9 maggio.
Quattro le scuole superiori di Aversa che vi partecipano: ovvero l’ I.S.I.S. “A.Volta”, il Liceo Scientifico “G.Siani”, il Liceo Scientifico “E.Fermi” e il Liceo “N. Jommelli”: la competizione ruota intorno alla costruzione, programmazione e test di guida autonoma di un’auto robotica in scala 1:20.
Nel corso della mattinata i team delle quattro scuole faranno percorrere alle auto robot un percorso con vari ostacoli. Gli studenti stessi giudicheranno le prestazioni dei team, concludendo con un momento di premiazione e convivialità.
Lo scopo del progetto è di aiutare gli studenti dell’ultimo anno delle scuole superiori a fare una scelta consapevole del percorso universitario. A tutti gli studenti saranno riconosciuti all’atto dell’iscrizione presso l’università della Campania 3 CFU di attività laboratoriali.

“Four schools for a robot”. Bringing the world of engineering closer to young people, making them aware of the infinite possibilities of this fascinating world, through play and interaction: this is the challenge that the Department of Engineering of the Università campana Luigi Vanvitelli has organised for students in Aversa.
A new way to tell young people about the Faculty: as part of the Orientation and Tutoring Plan 2024-2025, the final day of the “4 Schools x 1 Robot” competition will be held in the Aularium of Via Michelangelo. The competition will therefore take place in the courtyard, in the building under the famous arch of the Annunziata. The date is Friday the 9th of May at 9am.
Four high schools from Aversa will take part: the I.S.I. “A.Volta”, the Liceo Scientifico “G.Siani”, the Liceo Scientifico “E.Fermi” and the Liceo “N. Jommelli’. The competition is based on the construction, programming and autonomous driving test of a robot car on a scale of 1:20.
In the morning, teams from the four schools will drive the robotic cars through a course with various obstacles. The students themselves will judge the teams’ performance, and the day will conclude with an awards ceremony and social gathering.
The aim of the project is to help high school seniors make informed choices about their university careers. All students will be awarded 3 CFUs of workshop activities upon matriculation at the University of Campania.
