La carovana carosoniana torna sul palcoscenico dell’Arena Flegrea, venerdì 26 settembre, alle 21 con Diego De Silva e Il Quartetto Malinconico, Maria Elena Fabi, Silvia Falanga, Fanali con Altea, Noemi Gherrero, Peppe Iodice, Rosario Jermano, Lda, Napoleone, Nuova Compagnia Di Canto Popolare, Renanera, Walter Ricci, Roy Paci, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Gianni Simioli, Slf, Ste (in foto, la presentazione alla regione Campania).
L’avventura di un progetto ideato e diretto artisticamente dal giornalista Federico Vacalebre comincia il 21 settembre 2002, dopo un’edizione zero dell’anno precedente, organizzata a caldo dopo la morte di Renato. La volontà della manifestazione, sempre sostenuta dalla famiglia del maestro, era chiara: rilanciare, preservare, frequentare, rileggere e studiare un canzoniere prezioso.
Da allora il carosuono è dilagato, tra cover, dischi, musical, libri, fiction, mostre, coverband. Quest’anno all’omaggio all’americano di Napoli, si aggougono quelli a Roberto De Simone, il maestro che se n’è andato quest’anno lasciando un vuoto enorme.
A Pino Daniele nel doppio anniversario dei 10 anni dalla morte e i 70 dalla nascita, e con la consapevolezza di quanto “carosuono” risuonasse nel suo prezioso canzoniere; all’aspetto più ironico e satirico del repertorio di Fabrizio De André per sottolineare la persistenza di una vena ironica nella migliore canzone italiana, altrimenti armata di retorica melodrammatica; ai maestri novecenteschi Sergio Bruni e Roberto Murolo, riletti anche con appeal contemporaneo.

The adventure of a project conceived and artistically directed by journalist Federico Vacalebre began on September 21st, 2002, following a zero edition the previous year, organized on the spur of the moment after Renato’s death. The aim of the event, always supported by the maestro’s family, was clear: to revive, preserve, frequent, reread, and study a precious songbook.
Since then, the Carosone sound has spread, including covers, records, musicals, books, fiction, exhibitions, and cover bands. This year, the tribute to the American from Naples is joined by tributes to Roberto De Simone, the maestro who passed away this year, leaving a huge void.
To Pino Daniele, on the double anniversary of the 10th anniversary of his death and the 70th anniversary of his birth, and with the awareness of how much “Carosone” resonated in his precious songbook; to the more ironic and satirical aspects of Fabrizio De André’s repertoire, highlighting the persistence of a vein of irony in the best Italian songs, otherwise armed with melodramatic rhetoric; to the 20th-century masters Sergio Bruni and Roberto Murolo, reinterpreted with contemporary appeal.
