Napoli si veste di nuovo di giallo, dal 4 al 7 giugno. Cominciamo dai numeri: 87 ospiti, 58 eventi, 4 giorni di storie e libri, racconti e misteri. Tanti gli ospiti del crime italiano, da Carlo Lucarelli (che, venerdì 5 giugno, alle 22 sulla spiaggia antistante Palazzo Petrucci, a Posillipo, narrerà le sue favole nere) a Bruno Morchio, da Franco Forte (direttore dei Gialli Mondadori) a Gabriella Genis.
La manifestazione, presieduta da Maurizio de Giovanni, con la direzione artistica di Ciro Sabatino, si svolgerà al Vomero, in Villa Floridiana, ma il lancio della quinta edizione avverrà domani, 4 giugno, alle 19, alla fondazione Foqus nel centro storico di Napoli per ripercorrere cinque anni di delitti di carta nella città comunemente considerata la culla del giallo.
La casa editrice indipendente Homo Scrivens sarà presente al Festival del Giallo Città di Napoli con vari incontri. Si parte proprio giovedì 4 giugno ai Quartieri Spagnoli alle 19:30 con Mystery game, tratto dal libro in uscita il 12 giugno L’estate che morì Alicedi Ciro Sabatino, già direttore artistico della kermesse alla sua quinta edizione.
Venerdì 5 giugno, in Villa Floridiana, al Bar Pilade, alle 12 Il mestiere di scrivere, intervista a Bruno Pezzella, autore Homo Scrivens. E domenica 7 alle 11, sempre in Villa Floridiana, ma sullo scalone panoramico, sarà presentato Mentre tutti dormono di Sara Bilotti, Armando Guarino e Martin Rua che ne discuteranno con Serena Venditto. Alle 13 Giancarlo Vitagliano presenterà in anteprima il suo ultimo romanzo La ballata di Sant’Ilario, parlandone con Aldo Putignano (direttore di Homo Scrivens nonché presidente Ace, associazione campana editori), tra le letture di Antonio Torino.
Da segnalare, domenica, giorno di chiusura, tre iniziative da non perdere: una caccia al tesoro a tema Agatha Christie organizzata in collaborazione con la Mondadori; il primo torneo di bigliardino per scrittori di crime (a ogni iscritto tra il pubblico verrà affiancato un protagonista del genere più amato); lo speed date letterario per incontrare scrittori e agenti letterari e, in dieci minuti, farsi svelare come si può riuscire a farsi pubblicare un romanzo.

Naples is once again decked out in yellow, from the 4th to the 7th of June. Let’s start from the numbers: 87 guests, 58 events, 4 days of stories and books, short stories and mysteries. There will be many guests from the world of Italian crime fiction, from Carlo Lucarelli (who, on Friday the 5th of June at 10 pm on the beach in front of Palazzo Petrucci in Posillipo, will share his dark tales) to Bruno Morchio, from Franco Forte (editor of Gialli Mondadori) to Gabriella Genis.
The event, chaired by Maurizio de Giovanni and with artistic direction by Ciro Sabatino, will take place in Vomero, at Villa Floridiana, but the launch of the fifth edition will be held tomorrow, the 4th of June, at 7 pm, at the Foqus Foundation in the historic centre of Naples to look back on five years of fictional crimes in the city commonly regarded as the cradle of the crime novel.
The independent publishing house Homo Scrivens will be present at the Festival del Giallo Città di Napoli with a series of meetings. They will start on Thursday the 4th of June in the Quartieri Spagnoli at 7.30 pm with ‘Mystery Game’, based on the book due for publication on the 12th of June, *L’estate che morì Alice* by Ciro Sabatino, former artistic director of the festival now in its fifth edition.
On Friday the 5th of June, at Villa Floridiana, in the Bar Pilade, at 12 noon: *The Craft of Writing*, an interview with Bruno Pezzella, author of *Homo Scrivens*. And on Sunday the 7th at 11 am, again at Villa Floridiana, but on the panoramic staircase, *Whilst Everyone Sleeps* by Sara Bilotti will be presented, with Armando Guarino and Martin Rua discussing it with Serena Venditto. At 1pm, Giancarlo Vitagliano will present a preview of his latest novel, *La ballata di Sant’Ilario*, discussing it with Aldo Putignano (director of the publishing house and president of ACE, the Campania Publishers’ Association), with readings by Antonio Torino.
Also worth noting, on Sunday, the closing day, are three unmissable events: an Agatha Christie-themed treasure hunt organised in collaboration with Mondadori; the first table football tournament for crime writers (each participant from the audience will be paired with a leading figure from the genre); a literary speed-dating session to meet writers and literary agents and, in ten minutes, discover how to get a novel published.
