Comicità ma anche rivoluzione. Il festival Segreti d’autore in Cilento (ideato da Ruggero Cappuccio e diretto da Nadia Baldi) propone domani, mercoledì 5 agosto, i cortometraggi “Amici per la pelle” e “Al posto giusto al momento giusto”, alle 21 a Palazzo Coppola di Valle-Sessa Cilento (Salerno).
Sarà il momento clou dell’incontro con Gigi e Ross. I comici napoletani (foto) sono infatti i testimonial di due importanti campagne dal forte impatto sociale. La prima, come da titolo della breve opera della regista Angela Bevilacqua, ha lo scopo di porre l’attenzione sul tema della lotta al melanoma, mentre la seconda ha una valenza di vera e propria denuncia contro la camorra e la sua spirale di morte.
In totale adesione con quello spirito di legalità che, assieme a scienze, arti e ambiente, rappresenta da sempre uno dei 4 cardini del Festival, che anche per questo ha il sostegno del Ministero della Cultura e della Regione Campania con i fondi del Pnrr.
Giovedì 6 agosto ci sarà spazio dalle 18 alle 19 per “Revolution” un thriller di Corrado Ardone, dove gli spettatori diventano protagonisti di un viaggio sensoriale con Visori Vr, entrando direttamente dentro la storia e vivendola in prima persona.
Un progetto che unisce tradizione narrativa e una tecnologia d’avanguardia, già sperimentata all’estero. Arriva così anche in Italia, grazie a questa operazione pionieristica, l’evento capace di trasformare un genere classico in un’esperienza senza precedenti. Il cast corale che accompagna questa sfida verso il futuro è composto da Marzio Honorato, Annalisa Pennino, Rita Rusciano, Federica Aiello, Peppe Zarbo e Massimo Peluso. Si replica negli stessi orari ogni sera fino al 13 agosto.
Alle 21, invece, Fulvio Cauteruccio, interprete e regista, regalerà al pubblico del Festival un nuovo momento di grande teatro con il suo “Roccu u stortu”, pluripremiato testo di Francesco Suriano.
Lo spettacolo, prodotto dalla Compagnia Teatrale Krypton, racconta la storia di Rocco, un umile contadino calabrese che viene inviato al fronte durante la Prima guerra mondiale con l’illusione di ottenere al suo ritorno un pezzo di terra.
Una vicenda che diventa tragicamente attuale e continua ancora oggi a interrogare sulle radici della violenza e del sacrificio in una società attraversata da nuove e spietate forme di conflitto. Esplorando il destino dell’uomo di fronte al potere, alla follia e alla guerra.

Cilento / Segreti d’autore Festival: Gigi and Ross bring their humour to the event as ambassadors for the campaign to fight melanoma
Humor, but also revolution. The Segreti d’autore in Cilento festival (conceived by Ruggero Cappuccio and directed by Nadia Baldi) will present the short films “Amici per la pelle” and “Al posto giusto al momento giusto” tomorrow, Wednesday, the 5th of August, at 9:00 p.m. at Palazzo Coppola in Valle-Sessa Cilento (Salerno).
This will be the high point of the event featuring Gigi and Ross. The Neapolitan comedians (photo) are, in fact, the spokespersons for two important campaigns with a strong social impact. The first, as indicated by the title of the short film by director Angela Bevilacqua, aims to draw attention to the fight against melanoma, while the second serves as a powerful indictment of the Camorra and its spiral of death.
This is fully in line with the spirit of legality that, alongside science, the arts, and the environment, has always been one of the four cornerstones of the Festival—which, for this reason as well, enjoys the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Campania Region through funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
On Thursday,the 6th of August, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., “Revolution”—a thriller by Corrado Ardone—will take center stage. In this experience, viewers become the protagonists of a sensory journey using VR headsets, stepping directly into the story and experiencing it firsthand.
This project combines narrative tradition with cutting-edge technology that has already been tested abroad. Thanks to this pioneering initiative, the event—capable of turning a classic genre into an unprecedented experience—is now coming to Italy. The supporting cast accompanying this leap into the future includes Marzio Honorato, Annalisa Pennino, Rita Rusciano, Federica Aiello, Peppe Zarbo, and Massimo Peluso. It will be performed at the same times every evening through August 13.
At 9:00 p.m., instead, Fulvio Cauteruccio, actor and director, will treat the Festival audience to another moment of great theater with his “Roccu u stortu,” the award-winning play by Francesco Suriano.
The play, produced by the Krypton Theater Company, tells the story of Rocco, a humble Calabrian farmer who is sent to the front during World War I with the hope of receiving a piece of land upon his return.
A story that has become tragically relevant and continues to this day to raise questions about the roots of violence and sacrifice in a society plagued by new and ruthless forms of conflict. It explores the fate of the individual in the face of power, madness, and war.
Admission to all Festival appointments is by reservation only.
