«Omaggio a Milva». Lo propone lunedì 6 febbraio alle 18 il teatro cerca casa proprio nel salotto del drammaturgo Manlio Santanelli che ha ideato la manifestazione. Lo spettacolo di Gianmarco è recitato e cantato da Antonella Morea, accompagnata al piano da Vittorio Cataldi.
Dalla prima edizione, l’attrice napoletana dalla potente voce è sempre stata una delle grandi protagoniste de “Il Teatro cerca Casa”, la rassegna di spettacoli itineranti negli appartamenti privati, quest’anno giunta all’undicesima edizione.
Un viaggio attraverso la storia artistica e umana, che intende sottolineare il valore assoluto dell’arte di Milva, che attraverso la una straordinaria forza interpretativa, ha reso familiari al pubblico la creatività di Alda Merini, Bertolt Brecht, Astor Piazzolla Franco Battiato, Giuseppe Marotta ed Edith Piaf, e icone pop degli anni ’60, come Don Backy e il duo Sonny & Cher.
«Raccontare un personaggio eclettico come Milva – spiega l’autore e regista Gianmarco Cesario – una delle poche artiste italiane che è riuscita a coniugare classe, cultura e gusto popolare, non è facile, e ancor meno lo è raccontare la Milva donna. Così, per questo appassionato omaggio, abbiamo deciso di dare parola alle sue canzoni, ai poeti dei quali si è circondata, di cui il suo repertorio è ricco».

“Tribute to Milva”. Monday, Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. is the show organized by the theater seeks a home right in the living room of playwright Manlio Santanelli, who conceived the event. Gianmarco’s show is acted and sung by Antonella Morea, accompanied on piano by Vittorio Cataldi.
Since the first edition, the Neapolitan actress with the powerful voice has always been one of the great protagonists of “The Theater Seeks Home,” the review of traveling shows in private apartments, this year in its 11th edition.
A journey through artistic and human history, which aims to emphasize the absolute value of Milva’s art, which through her extraordinary interpretative strength, made the public familiar with the creativity of Alda Merini, Bertolt Brecht, Astor Piazzolla Franco Battiato, Giuseppe Marotta and Edith Piaf, and pop icons of the 1960s, such as Don Backy and the duo Sonny & Cher.
“Recounting an eclectic character like Milva,” explains author and director Gianmarco Cesario, “one of the few Italian artists who managed to combine class, culture and popular taste, is not easy, and even less so is recounting the woman Milva. So, for this passionate tribute, we decided to give words to her songs, to the poets with whom she surrounded herself, of which her repertoire is rich.”
