Gran finale per l’Ischia Film Festival, tra emozioni e premi. Si conclude stasera la ventitreesima edizione della rassegna, diretta da Michelangelo Messina, che anche quest’anno ha trasformato il castello aragonese in un palcoscenico internazionale per il cinema che racconta i luoghi.
Tra i momenti più significativi, la consegna dell’Ischia Film Award a Celeste Dalla Porta come migliore attrice protagonista per il film Parthenope di Paolo Sorrentino. L’attrice sarà premiata “per aver dato vita a un personaggio autentico e misurato, accompagnando il film con sensibilità e verità”.
L’Ischia Film Award sarà conferito anche a Marco Giallini come migliore attore protagonista per la sua interpretazione nel film La città proibita di Gabriele Mainetti “per la forza e l’ironia con cui dà corpo a un personaggio spiazzante, capace di raccontare la fragilità maschile senza cliché”.
Annunciati, intanto, i vincitori delle diverse sezioni in concorso: la giuria composta da Simona Balducci, Anna Ammirati e Sandra Lipski ha assegnato l’Ischia Film Award peril miglior lungometraggioa Bauryna Salu del regista kazako Askhat Kuchichirekov.
Il premio per la miglior regia è andato all’iraniano Amirhossein Saghafi per For Love, mentre quello per la miglior fotografia è stato conferito al giapponese Tatsuya Yamada per River Returns. Il riconoscimento per la miglior scenografia è stato attribuito al portoghese Ricardo Preto per A Pedra Sonha dar Flor.
Nella sezione cortometraggi, la giuria formata da Davide Magnisi, Alessandro Negrini e Dominik Cicak ha premiato Ali Alizadeh per il corto iraniano Recurrence. Una menzione speciale è andata, invece, alla regista estone Madli Laane per Jungle Law.
Per la sezione Location Negata, BPER Banca consegna il premio al miglior lungometraggio Journey to the Center della regista Natalie Zimmermann, assegnato dalla giuria composta da Chiara Spagnoli Gabardi, Rainer Lipski e Daniele Orazi. La menzione speciale è stata attribuita al documentario Prison Beauty Contest di Srdan Šarenac. Per la categoria cortometraggi il premio è andato a Ya Hanouni di Lyna Tadount e Sofian Chouaib, con una menzione speciale a Clear Sky di Marcin Kundera.
Nel corso della settimana, il festival ha ospitato grandi nomi del panorama cinematografico internazionale, tra cui la Premio Oscar Marcia Gay Harden, Luca Zingaretti, Anna Ammirati, Francesca Comencini e Luca Bigazzi, Toni Servillo e Roberto Andò, Marco Giallini e Celeste Dalla Porta.
Dalla prossima edizione nascerà una nuova sezione dedicata al cinema d’impresa, promossa da Bonacina 1889, Upskill 4.0 e Stefano Micelli, con l’obiettivo di valorizzare il legame tra impresa, cultura e linguaggio cinematografico.

Ischia Film Festival/ Grand Finale at the castle in the name of Italian cinema. Among the winners, Marco Giallini
Grand finale for the Ischia Film Festival, between emotions and awards. The twenty-third edition of the festival, directed by Michelangelo Messina, ends tonight, which this year has also transformed the Aragonese castle into an international stage for cinema that tells the story of places.
Among the most significant moments, the presentation of the Ischia Film Award to Celeste Dalla Porta as best leading actress for the film Parthenope by Paolo Sorrentino. The actress will be awarded “for having given life to an authentic and measured character, accompanying the film with sensitivity and truth”.
The Ischia Film Award will also be awarded to Marco Giallini as best leading actor for his performance in the film La città proibita by Gabriele Mainetti “for the strength and irony with which he gives body to a disconcerting character, capable of recounting male fragility without clichés”.
Meanwhile, the winners of the various sections in competition have been announced: the jury composed of Simona Balducci, Anna Ammirati and Sandra Lipski awarded the Ischia Film Award for best feature film to Bauryna Salu by Kazakh director Askhat Kuchichirekov.
