“Fuori mondi. Cronache da mondi non autorizzati”. Che producono immaginari fertili, linguaggi inediti e forme di resistenza. A questi dà spazio il Napoli queer festival 2026, terza edizione della rassegna in programma a Napoli da martedì 14 a domenica 19 aprile 2026, un invito a entrare in ciò che è “fuori”, per riscrivere insieme ciò che può diventare centro.
Il Festival si svolgerà in diversi spazi della città, Sala Assoli Moscato e Teatro Nuovo Napoli, in dialogo partecipato con alcune delle realtà più significative del territorio come La Santissima Community Hub, Teatro Avanposto Numero 0, Körper | Centro Nazionale di Produzione della Danza, FOQUS – Fondazione Quartieri Spagnoli, Centro Studi sul Teatro Napoletano Meridionale ed Europeo, Libreria Tamu, Feltrinelli, Mamamu, Rootz Café & Records Shop, contribuendo a costruire una programmazione diffusa e partecipata.
Per sei giorni, la città si trasforma in un arcipelago di spazi, visioni e pratiche che mettono al centro le soggettività queer e transfemministe, dando vita a un’esperienza che è insieme artistica e politica, collettiva e profondamente incarnata.
L’ideazione artistica e la direzione del progetto sono affidate a Giuseppe Affinito e all’associazione Cartesiane Culture, nata a partire dalla prima edizione del Festival e composta da lavoratorɜ dello spettacolo, artistɜ e attivistɜ.
Tra le principali novità di questa edizione, l’apertura a eventi internazionali. Il programma ospiterà, per la prima volta, compagnie e artisti provenienti dal panorama europeo, accanto a realtà italiane, ampliando il confronto e le possibilità di scambio.
Si comincia martedì 14 aprile alle 18 alla Sala Assoli Moscato, con l’inaugurazione della mostra Fuori Mondi, realizzata con l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli e arricchita dall’installazione sonora “Bytes Ardenti” di Banda Mutanda.
Alle 19 performance Binary Mutilation di Desira, insieme a Pelussje e Mix Gender, seguita dalla stand-up comedy di Laura Pusceddu. In chiusura, il Teatro Nuovo ospiterà, alle 21 Drag Ring, un lip sync battle condotto da Priscilla con alcune delle performer più iconiche della scena.
Il Napoli queer festival 2026 si concluderà domenica 19 aprile con una giornata che attraversa pubblici e pratiche differenti: dagli spazi del Foqus, alle 15, con L’ora delle storie con Priscilla, dedicata anche alle più giovani, al laboratorio Memorie da sottopelle, alle 16, nella Sala Assoli Moscato, seguito dalla sessione di ascolto Raiva di Mistura Queer. Alle 21 il concerto in solo di Any Other chiude il Festival in una dimensione intima e sonora.

Napoli Queer Festival / Reports from unauthorised worlds: from the 14th to the 19th of April, the city will welcome new forms of expression and resistance. Priscilla will be there too
“OUTSIDE WORLDS. Chronicles from unauthorised worlds”. These worlds give rise to fertile imaginations, novel languages and forms of resistance. The Napoli Queer Festival 2026, the third edition of the event scheduled to take place in Naples from Tuesday the 14th to Sunday the 19th of April 2026, provides a platform for these, inviting us to step into what lies “outside”, so that together we may rewrite what can become the centre.
The Festival will take place in various venues across the city, including the Sala Assoli Moscato and the Teatro Nuovo Napoli, in collaborative dialogue with some of the region’s most significant organisations such as La Santissima Community Hub, Teatro Avanposto Numero 0, Körper | National Centre for Dance Production, FOQUS – Fondazione Quartieri Spagnoli, Centre for Studies on Southern Neapolitan and European Theatre, Libreria Tamu, Feltrinelli, Mamamu, Rootz Café & Records Shop, helping to build a widespread and participatory programme.
For six days, the city transforms into an archipelago of spaces, visions and practices that place queer and transfeminist subjectivities at the centre, giving rise to an experience that is at once artistic and political, collective and deeply embodied.
The artistic conception and direction of the project are in the hands of Giuseppe Affinito and the Cartesiane Culture association, which was founded following the first edition of the Festival and comprises performing arts professionals, artists and activists.
Among the main new features of this edition is the inclusion of international events. For the first time, the programme will feature companies and artists from across Europe, alongside Italian acts, broadening the scope for dialogue and exchange.
The festival kicks off on Tuesday the 14th of April at 6 pm at the Sala Assoli Moscato, with the opening of the exhibition Fuori Mondi, organised in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples and enhanced by the sound installation “Bytes Ardenti” by Banda Mutanda.
At 7pm, Desira’s performance Binary Mutilation, alongside Pelussje and Mix Gender, followed by Laura Pusceddu’s stand-up comedy. To close the evening, at 9pm, the Teatro Nuovo will host Drag Ring, a lip-sync battle hosted by Priscilla featuring some of the scene’s most iconic performers.
The Napoli Queer Festival 2026 will draw to a close on Sunday the 19th of April with a programme appealing to a wide range of audiences and covering a variety of activities: starting at 3 pm at Foqus with ‘Story Time with Priscilla’, designed for younger children too, followed by the ‘Memories Under the Skin’ workshop at 4 pm in the Sala Assoli Moscato, and concluding with the ‘Raiva’ listening session by Mistura Queer. At 9 pm, Any Other’s solo concert will bring the Festival to a close in an intimate and musical setting.
