Notte europea dei musei. L’iniziativa lanciata dal Ministero della Cultura francese, patrocinata da Unesco, Consiglio d’Europae ICOM che dal 2005 coinvolge contemporaneamente i musei di tutta Europa con lo scopo di promuovere l’identità culturale dell’unione, fa tappa acome sempre anche a Napoli. Un momento di festa e apertura con i musei statali accessibii, di sera, in via eccezionale, al costo simbolico di 1 euro.
Al Museo di Capodimonte la ventesima edizione dell’iniziativa si svolgerà nel segno della Napoli rinascimentale: sabato 17 maggio, apertura serale (dalle 19,30 alle 22,30, ultimo ingresso alle 21,30) con ingresso al costo simbolico di un euro e concerto dell’ensemble Musica Reservata (foto) dedicato alla musica ai tempi del Regno aragonese e poi del Vicereame di Toledo.
I visitatori potranno ammirare i capolavori del Museo al primo e al secondo piano e gli ospiti in mostra: Ludovico Carracci, Pieter Paul Rubens, Giovanni Baglione.
In sala 20 alle 8 della sera si esibirà Musica Reservata, ensemble vocale e strumentale nato nel 1989 per promuovere la diffusione della cultura musicale del XV e del XVI secolo con l’uso di riproduzioni di strumenti antichi in grado di restituire con maggiore fedeltà le atmosfere dell’epoca.
L’ensemble è composto da Chiara Bellavista (canto), Serena Calcagno (traversiere), Claudia Crimi (canto, percussioni), Vincenzo D’Arienzo (vihuela, calascione, liutochitarra), Maria Pia Granato (canto, flauto, organo portativo, calascione), Teodorico Zurlo (canto, saqueboute). Il concerto avrà la durata di un’ora.
Il pubblico è invitato a scoprire le tante opere che raffigurano strumenti antichi (come quelle di Guarino, Sellitto, Buono) e condividere le emozioni della Notte al Museo sugli account ufficiali del Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte, Facebook, X , Instragram utilizzandogli hashtag #notteeuropeadeimusei2025 #capodimonte #napoli .
Alla manifestazione aderiscono anche il Palazzo Reale di Napoli (ore 20.00 – 23.00) e il Museo di Villa Pignatelli (ore 19.30 – 22.30. L’ingresso al costo simbolico di 1 euro sarà possibile entro un’ora dai rispettivi orari di chiusura.
Sempre sabato, al Palazzo Reale nell’ambito dell’iniziativa Il Sabato dei depositi che si svolge ogni terzo sabato del mese in programma due visite guidate attraverso luoghi abitualmente non accessibili al pubblico.
Questo mese si potrà passeggiare nel Deposito di opere d’arte e Laboratorio di restauro, al piano ammezzato dell’edificio, recuperati nel 2014 dopo importanti lavori di ristrutturazione.
I visitatori incontreranno il personale del museo nel Cortile d’Onore presso la Fontana della Fortuna per un percorso della durata di 1 ora e 30 minuti che inizierà alle 10 e alle 11.30.
È possibile acquistare il biglietto per la sola visita al costo di 5 euro oppure un biglietto congiunto che comprende anche l’accesso al Palazzo Reale al costo di 18 euro.

European Night of Museums/ Capodimonte in concert with music at the time of the Aragonese kingdom
European Night of Museums. The initiative launched by the French Ministry of Culture, sponsored by UNESCO, the Council of Europe and ICOM, which since 2005 has simultaneously involved museums from all over Europe with the aim of promoting the cultural identity of the union, stops off as always in Naples. At the Capodimonte Museum, the twentieth edition of the initiative will take place in the name of Renaissance Naples: Saturday the 17 of May, evening opening (from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm, last entry at 9:30 pm) with entry at the symbolic cost of one euro and a concert by the Musica Reservata ensemble (photo) dedicated to music at the time of the Aragonese Kingdom and then of the Viceroyalty of Toledo.

The Royal Palace of Naples (8 p.m. – 11 p.m.) and the Villa Pignatelli Museum (7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.) are also taking part in the event. Entrance at the symbolic cost of 1 euro will be possible within one hour of their respective closing times.
Also on Saturday, at the Royal Palace, as part of the initiative Il Sabato dei depositi (The Deposits Saturday), which takes place every third Saturday of the month, two guided tours are scheduled through places that are usually not accessible to the public.
This month, you can walk through the Art Deposit and Restoration Laboratory, on the mezzanine floor of the building, recovered in 2014 after major renovation work.
Visitors will meet the museum staff in the Cortile d’Onore near the Fontana della Fortuna for a tour lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes that will start at 10 and 11:30 a.m.
You can buy a ticket for the visit only at a cost of 5 euros or a combined ticket that also includes access to the Palace Real at the cost of 18 euros.
