Piazza del Mercato/ Napoli festeggia i 70 anni di Enzo Avitabile con un concerto gratuito. Con lui sul palco, Jovanotti e Francesco De Gregori (29 giugno)

Nella piazza carica di storia, arriva un pezzo forte della musica italiana, Enzo Avitabile. Settant’anni compiuti il primo marzo di quest’anno (nato sotto il segno dei pesci proprio come l’amico indimenticabile Pino Daniele), il musicista partenopeo li festeggerà nell’esedra settecentesca concepita dall’architetto Francesco Sicuro con un concerto gratuito: sul palco con lui, nomi squillanti, come quello di Jovanotti e Francesco de Gregori: amici preziosi, come li definisce lui stesso.
Domenico 29 giugno, alle 21, 30 dallo show di musica live si diffonderà un messaggio di pace per non dimenticare la drammatica condizione di guerra e di diseguaglianza che paralizza alcuno angoli del pianeta. Con Avitabile, ci sarà anche Daby Tourè, cantante e polistrumentista della Mauritania.
Sarà una grande festa, afferma l’assessora comunale (a turismo e attività produttive) Teresa Armato:  «Siamo felici di celebrare i 50 anni di carriera di un artista straordinario come Enzo Avitabile, con un grande concerto in Piazza Mercato, unendo musica, cultura e valorizzazione del territorio. Un artista capace di dare voce a Napoli, in un luogo ricco di storia, per un evento molto atteso che emozionerà e coinvolgerà sicuramente tutta la città».
Musica live per chi abita un città ma anche per chi viene da fuori, a pochi passi dalla chiesa di Sant’Eligio dove stamattina si è girato un frammento della soap opera Un posto al sole. Uno scenario secolare che è stato siparietto della solidaroetà napoletana.
Molta gente assembrata in attesa che le riprese televisive inizino, una signora passa ma scivola su una improvvisata pozza d’acqua provocata dal rigagnolo di un climatizzatore incastrato sul muro di un palazzo. Per aiutarla, un robusto signore si precipita ma cade rovinosamente sulla malcapitata.
Alla fine qualcuno riesce a sollevarli entrambi e la signora viene travolta dalle attenzioni delle persone introno a lei: la fanno accomodare su uno sgabello, le offrono una bottiglia gelata d’acqua do poggiare sul ginocchio malconcio e le consigliano di andare, appena possibile, in farmacia a comprare una pomata per gli ematomi.
Sarebbe mai accaduto a Milano? Ma nemmeno a Roma, che non è tanto lontana dal Vesuvio. Meraviglia degli infiniti contrasti che fanno di questa città una realtà unica al mondo. Tra lunghe ombre e tanta luce.

In the square full of history, comes a highlight of Italian music, Enzo Avitabile. Seventy years old on the first of March this year (born under the sign of fish just like his unforgettable friend Pino Daniele), the musician from Naples will celebrate them in the eighteenth century esedra conceived by architect Francesco Sicuro with a free concert: On stage with him, names ringing, like that of Jovanotti and Francesco de Gregori: precious friends, as he calls them himself.
Domenico June 29, at 21, 30 from the live music show will spread a message of peace not to forget the dramatic condition of war and inequality that paralyzes some corners of the planet. With Avitabile, there will also be Daby Touré, singer and multi-instrumentalist from Mauritania.
It will be a great party, says the city councilor (tourism and productive activities) Teresa Armato: «We are happy to celebrate the 50 years of career of an extraordinary artist like Enzo Avitabile, with a big concert in Piazza Mercato, combining music, culture and valorization of the territory. An artist capable of giving voice to Naples, in a place rich in history, for an event that will certainly excite and involve the whole city».
Live music for those who live in a city but also for those who come from outside, just a few steps from the church of Sant’Eligio where this morning was shot a fragment of the soap opera A place in the sun. A secular scenario that was part of the Neapolitan solidarity.
Many people assembled waiting for the television shoot to begin, a lady passes but slides over an improvised pool of water caused by the crevice of an air conditioner stuck on the wall of a building. To help her, a sturdy gentleman rushes but falls rudely on the ill-fated.
At the end someone manages to lift them both and the lady is overwhelmed by the attentions of the people who are interested in her: they make her sit on a stool, offer her a bottle of cold water to rest on her battered knee and advise her to go, As soon as possible, in the pharmacy to buy an ointment for hematomas.
Would it ever have happened in Milan? But not even in Rome, which is not so far from Vesuvius. Wonder of the infinite contrasts that make this city a unique reality in the world. Between long shadows and lots of light.
