Imparare si può sempre, in qualsiasi periodo della vita, anche gratuitamente. A Quarto arrivano i laboratori di arte e web radio per adolescenti. Casa Mehari (bene confiscato di via Nicotera 8, foto) nella zona nord di Napoli ospita i due percorsi curati dall’associazione Dialogos.
Tutto questo accade grazie a “O.L.T.RE la Biblioteca”, progetto con capofila l’associazione CTG Turmed, vincitore del bando Biblioteche, quarta edizione, promosso da Fondazione CON IL SUD e dal Centro per il libro e la lettura.
Il laboratorio di arte, con un focus su ceramica e decorazione, offrirà spazi di creatività ed espressione culturale. Il laboratorio di web radio, in collaborazione con il progetto “Radio Mehari”, invece, aiuterà i giovanissimi a raccontare il territorio: i partecipanti ideeranno e parteciperanno alla conduzione di interviste per contribuire alla promozione degli eventi culturali creando un dialogo diretto tra il mondo letterario e il pubblico giovanile.
Chi partecipa sarà guidato dagli esperti dell’associazione Dialogos attiva da anni nella promozione della cultura e dell’informazione. La realtà, immersa nel mondo del giornalismo, sostiene la lotta alla criminalità promuovendo l’antimafia sociale. Questi laboratori aprono la sfida del progetto “O.L.T.RE la Biblioteca” che promuoverà la lettura attraverso la riqualificazione e la rigenerazione di due importanti biblioteche nelle zone a Nord di Napoli e realizzerà laboratori, incontri e altre iniziative per raggiungere persone di ogni età attraverso la cultura.

You can always learn, at any stage of your life, and even for free. Art and web radio workshops for teenagers are coming to Quarto. Casa Mehari (a confiscated property in Via Nicotera 8, photo) in the northern part of Naples is hosting the two courses organised by the Dialogos association.
All this is made possible by ‘O.L.T.RE la Biblioteca’, a project led by the CTG Turmed association, winner of the fourth edition of the ‘Biblioteche’ call for proposals, promoted by the CON IL SUD Foundation and the Centre for Books and Reading.
The art workshop, focusing on ceramics and decoration, will provide spaces for creativity and cultural expression. The web radio workshop, in collaboration with the ‘Radio Mehari’ project, will help young people to tell the story of their local area: participants will come up with and take part in conducting interviews to help promote cultural events, creating a direct dialogue between the literary world and young audiences.
Participants will be guided by experts from the Dialogos association, which has been promoting culture and information for many years. The organisation, deeply rooted in the world of journalism, supports the fight against crime by fostering social anti-Mafia initiatives. These workshops mark the launch of the ‘O.L.T.RE la Biblioteca’ project, which aims to promote reading through the refurbishment and regeneration of two major libraries in the areas north of Naples, and will organise workshops, meetings and other initiatives to engage people of all ages through culture.
