A Diego arriva su youtube. Ecco il nuovo singolo dei rapper “4K”, dedicato a Maradona. Il duo, composto dai fratelli partenopei Nicholas e Mirko Tolosa (foto), nasce nel 1999 e conserva una matrice underground.
Nel lavoro discografico, le voci di Nicholas Tolosa e Fabio Castaldo, che ha realizzato anche la base. Il brano fa emergere la simbiosi, per certi aspetti “mistica”, tra la figura mitologica dell’eroe (in tutta la sua fragilità ma anche nella sua potenza), e il suo “popolo”: una venerazione che diventa una vera e propria “fede”.
Si diffonde soprattutto tra gli “ultimi” che hanno fame di orgoglio, riscatto e dignità. Le “magie” del campione venuto dal “ghetto” offrono visibilità a quel popolo, storicamente “sottomesso” dai potenti, portandolo finalmente in alto, per la prima volta, lassù, a toccare il cielo non con un dito, bensì con una mano. La mano di Dio.

A Diego on youtube. Here is the rappers’ new single “4K,” dedicated to Maradona. The duo, composed of Neapolitan brothers Nicholas and Mirko Tolosa (photo), was born in 1999 and maintains an underground matrix.
The record work features the voices of Nicholas Tolosa and Fabio Castaldo, who also created the base. The song brings out the symbiosis, in some respects “mystical,” between the mythological figure of the hero (in all his fragility but also in his power), and his “people”: a veneration that becomes a true “faith.”
It spreads especially among the “last” who hunger for pride, redemption and dignity. The “magics” of the champion who came from the “ghetto” offer visibility to that people, historically “subjugated” by the powerful, finally leading them up there, for the first time, to touch heaven not with a finger but with a hand. The hand of God.
