Eredità riflessa. Omaggio ai grandi maestri della moda italiana tra arte, musica, danza e creatività mercoledì 10 giugno al Real Albergo dei Poveri di Napoli, dalle 18. La manifestazione conclude la stagione culturale del Polo delle arti Caselli Palizzi, realizzata con il patrocinio del Comune di Napoli e del Rotary Club Neapolis.
Quattro i protagonisti che l’hanno ispirata: Giorgio Armani, Gianfranco Ferrè, Valentino Garavani e Gianni Versace, interpreti di un patrimonio creativo, bussola di orientamento per nuove generazioni di artisti, designer e artigiani.
Il programma si aprirà con i suggestivi dialoghi musicali di “Sinfonie del Mare Nostrum”, un incontro di sonorità italiane, africane e mediterranee che celebra il valore dell’incontro tra culture e tradizioni.
Seguiranno, le esibizioni canore dell’Ensemble del Polo delle arti accompagneranno il pubblico verso il momento centrale della serata: la sfilata delle creazioni realizzate dalle Officine Moda, confezionate con gli splendidi tessuti messi a disposizione da Tessuti Miccione e valorizzate dalle coreografie delle ballerine del Liceo Coreutico.
Particolare rilievo assume il lavoro artigianale che caratterizza ogni creazione presentata in passerella. Tutti i bottoni degli abiti (foto) sono stati realizzati a mano nelle Officine della Ceramica, mentre spille e fibbie sono nate nelle Officine del gioiello e dell’arte dei metalli, testimonianza concreta dell’integrazione tra formazione artistica, saper fare tradizionale e innovazione progettuale.
Commenta il dirigente scolastico Valter Luca De Bartolomeis: «L’appuntamento non rappresenta soltanto una celebrazione della grande tradizione della moda italiana, ma è anche una dimostrazione del valore educativo e culturale delle attività del Polo delle arti Caselli Palizzi, luogo in cui discipline diverse dialogano per costruire nuove forme di creatività e consapevolezza. “Eredità Riflessa” è un tributo alla memoria dei maestri del Made in Italy e, allo stesso tempo, uno sguardo rivolto al futuro, affidato al talento e alla passione delle giovani generazioni».
Talento e passione un binomio su cui insisteva proprio Armani, nel suo discorso agli studenti dal palco del Teatro Municipale di Piacenza, dopo aver ricevuto la laurea honoris causa in global business management dall’Università Cattolica: «Vorrei, con la mia storia, essere un esempio, uno stimolo e ricordare a tutti che il lavoro vero porta lontano. Io sono un creativo razionale, ma la spinta nasce sempre dalla passione, da un’intuizione e dal desiderio bruciante di realizzarla. Ogni idea, in fondo, è frutto di un innamoramento e questo lavoro, che per me è la vita, è un atto continuo di amore». Come non dargli ragione?

Real Albergo dei Poveri / A legacy that lives on: the Caselli Palizzi arts centre pays tribute to Armani, Ferré, Valentino and Versace through the creativity of the younger generation
A legacy that lives on (eredità riflessa). A tribute to the great masters of Italian fashion through art, music, dance and creativity on Wednesday the 10th of June at the Real Albergo dei Poveri in Naples, from 6 pm. The event brings the cultural season of the Caselli Palizzi Arts Centre to a close, organised under the patronage of the City of Naples and the Rotary Club Neapolis.
Four leading figures have inspired it: Giorgio Armani, Gianfranco Ferré, Valentino Garavani and Gianni Versace, interpreters of a creative heritage that serves as a guiding compass for new generations of artists, designers and artisans.
The programme will open with the evocative musical dialogues of ‘Sinfonie del Mare Nostrum’, a fusion of Italian, African and Mediterranean sounds celebrating the value of the meeting of cultures and traditions.
This will be followed by vocal performances by the Polo delle Arti Ensemble, guiding the audience towards the highlight of the evening: the fashion show of creations by Officine Moda, crafted from the splendid fabrics provided by Tessuti Miccione and enhanced by the choreography of the dancers from the Liceo Coreutico.
Particular importance is given to the craftsmanship that characterises every creation presented on the catwalk. All the buttons on the garments (photo) were handmade in the Ceramics Workshops, while the brooches and buckles were created in the Jewellery and Metalwork Workshops, a tangible testament to the integration of artistic training, traditional craftsmanship and innovative design.
School principal Valter Luca De Bartolomeis comments: ‘This event is not only a celebration of the great tradition of Italian fashion, but also a demonstration of the educational and cultural value of the activities at the Caselli Palizzi Arts Centre, a place where different disciplines interact to build new forms of creativity and awareness. ‘Eredità tiflessa’ is a tribute to the memory of the masters of Made in Italy and, at the same time, a look towards the future, entrusted to the talent and passion of the younger generations.”
Talent and passion: a combination that Armani himself emphasised in his speech to students from the stage of the Teatro Municipale in Piacenza, after receiving an honorary degree in global business management from the Catholic University: ‘I would like, through my own story, to serve as an example and an inspiration, and to remind everyone that hard work takes you far. I am a rational creative, but the drive always comes from passion, from an intuition and from a burning desire to bring it to fruition. Every idea, after all, is the result of falling in love, and this work, which for me is life, is a continuous act of love.” How can we not agree with him?
