“Eco di mani amiche“. Virginia Franceschi di Pozzuoli e la milanese Sara Montani espongono le loro opere alla Pinacoteca provinciale di Salerno. Da oggi fino al 16 novembre 2025. Un progetto (foto) che unisce due ricerche individuali in una trama condivisa: quella che nasce dal gesto e dal residuo, dal contatto tra mano e materia, dal bisogno di trasformare lo scarto in linguaggio.
All’interno delle sale di Palazzo Pinto, Franceschi e Montani costruiscono un dialogo visivo e concettuale. Due grammatiche autonome che, sovrapposte, generano un tessuto di consonanze e divergenze, una coralità dell’imperfetto.
Le opere nascono da materiali minimi, poveri, a volte residuali: fili, carte, tessuti, sabbie, oggetti trovati. Elementi che recano su di sé la traccia del tempo e del consumo, e che le artiste rielaborano secondo una logica di recupero poetico. Una strategia di resistenza contro la dissipazione del visibile.
Il titolo, Eco di mani amiche, è la chiave interpretativa dell’intero progetto. La mano come strumento di conoscenza, di biografie intonate, di contaminazione Nord – Sud. In questa eco, una relazione che attraversa il tempo e la materia, una complicità che trasforma l’atto creativo in un gesto condiviso.
Una riflessione sul tempo dell’arte, sulla sua capacità di trattenere ciò che l’esperienza quotidiana tende a scartare. Nel rifiuto, nel resto, nell’avanzo, le due artiste trovano un principio di rigenerazione. Il gesto manuale diventa un atto di memoria e di cura. Ogni frammento recuperato, ogni filo intrecciato o superficie corrosa è un segno di continuità tra il corpo che crea e il mondo che accoglie.
Le opere dialogano con lo spazio architettonico, la luce diventa parte della narrazione. L’esposizione evolve come una trama aperta invitando il pubblico a diventarne parte e a guardare oltre l’apparenza del materiale che rinasce.

‘Echo of Friendly Hands’. Virginia Franceschi from Pozzuoli and Sara Montani from Milan exhibit their works at the Provincial Art Gallery. From today until the 16th of November 2025. A project that combines two individual research projects into a shared narrative: one that arises from gesture and residue, from the contact between hand and material, from the need to transform waste into language.
Inside the rooms of Palazzo Pinto, Franceschi and Montani construct a visual and conceptual dialogue. Two autonomous grammars which, when superimposed, generate a fabric of consonances and divergences, a chorus of imperfection.
The works are created from minimal, poor, sometimes residual materials: threads, paper, fabrics, sand, found objects. Elements that bear the traces of time and consumption, and which the artists rework according to a logic of poetic recovery. A strategy of resistance against the dissipation of the visible.
The title, Echo of friendly hands, is the key to interpreting the entire project. The hand as an instrument of knowledge, of harmonious biographies, of North-South contamination. In this echo, a relationship that transcends time and matter, a complicity that transforms the creative act into a shared gesture.
A reflection on the time of art, on its ability to retain what everyday experience tends to discard. In waste, in leftovers, in scraps, the two artists find a principle of regeneration. The manual gesture becomes an act of memory and care. Every recovered fragment, every woven thread or corroded surface is a sign of continuity between the body that creates and the world that welcomes.
The works interact with the architectural space, and light becomes part of the narrative. The exhibition evolves like an open plot, inviting the public to become part of it and to look beyond the appearance of the reborn material.
