“La pietra oscura” va in scena al Teatro Tram. Il testo è dell’autore spagnolo contemporaneo Alberto Conejero: da domani venerdì 12 a domenica 14 gennaio sul palco Andrea Palladino e Alessandro Tedesco (foto) con la regia di Pasquale De Cristofaro.
Con quest’opera, Conejero ha ottenuto il Premio Max come miglior autore teatrale del 2015. Lo sfondo è la guerra civile spagnola: i protagonisti sono Rafael, un prigioniero in attesa di fucilazione, e Sebastian, il suo giovane carceriere. Nella realtà, Rafael Rodrìguez Rapun è stato segretario del gruppo di teatro universitario “La Barraca” diretto da Federico Garcìa Lorca e suo ultimo compagno.
In un serrato confronto tra i due, Rafael tenterà di coinvolgere Sebastian in un duplice compito, portare alla sua famiglia un messaggio di speranza e recuperare un inedito manoscritto di Lorca salvaguardandone la memoria presso le generazioni future. Un dramma avvincente sul valore della memoria come concime per un futuro meno violento e più democratico.
Uno spettacolo coinvolgente che ha come protagonista evocato Garcia Lorca.

Teatro Tram/ Alberto Conejero’s The dark stone: the Spanish civil war and the value of memory
“The dark stone” will be performed at the Teatro Tram. The text is by contemporary Spanish playwright Alberto Conejero: from tomorrow, Friday 12 January, to Sunday 14 January, Andrea Palladino and Alessandro Tedesco (photo) will be on stage, directed by Pasquale De Cristofaro.
With this work, Conejero won the Max Prize as the best playwright of 2015. Set against the backdrop of the Spanish Civil War, the main characters are Rafael, a prisoner awaiting execution, and Sebastian, his young jailer. In reality, Rafael Rodrìguez Rapun was the secretary of the university theater group “La Barraca”, directed by Federico Garcìa Lorca and his last companion.
In a close confrontation between the two, Rafael will try to engage Sebastian in a double task: to bring a message of hope to his family and to recover an unpublished manuscript of Lorca, preserving his memory with future generations. A compelling drama about the value of memory as fertilizer for a less violent and more democratic future.
