Falaut Festival compie dieci anni. E li festeggia al Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella di Napoli. Il 28 e 29 giugno con masterclass, seminari, momenti di scambio, tanta musica e maestri di rilievo internazionali. Un’occasione preziosa per i giovani musicisti di incontrarsi, imparare e condividere la gioia di suonare insieme.
Racconta Salvatore Lombardi, direttore artistico della rassegna organizzata dall’associazione AFI Falaut ETS: «Dopo nove edizioni indimenticabili, che ci hanno portato a condividere la nostra musica in luoghi meravigliosi, da Cernusco sul Naviglio a Pescara, da Milano alle sponde incantevoli del Lago di Como, questa volta abbiamo scelto di celebrare il decimo anniversario in un luogo che rappresenta perfettamente lo spirito di incontro e di festa che da sempre anima il nostro Festival» .
Si comincia sabato 28 giugno con un pieno omaggio a Jean-Claude Gérard. Sul palco alcuni dei suoi ex allievi, oggi affermati artisti di fama mondiale: Andrea Oliva, Jihoon Shin, Natalia Gerakis, Christina Fassbender e Hyunim Yoon.
Un tributo affettuoso e sentito a un musicista e didatta di una giornata che si chiude alle 18 con un concerto che ricorderà una figura leggendaria del flautismo mondiale.
Domenica 29 giugno alle 10 prove aperte per Orchestra di Flauti FalauTogether a cura del Maestro Paolo Totti. Alle 15 la presentazione del libro “Il Primo Giubileo della storia” del giornalista e scrittore Angelo De Nicola, edito da One Group Edizioni. Il volume è dedicato alla Perdonanza Celestiniana, istituita nel 1294 da Papa Celestino V e riconosciuta come il primo Giubileo della storia. De Nicola analizza il valore storico e spirituale dell’indulgenza plenaria concessa da Celestino, simbolo di una Chiesa che guarda alla pace, al perdono e alla riconciliazione.
Alle 17 l’Orchestra di Flauti FalauTogether diretta da Paolo Totti, garanzia di qualità e passione, proporrà un concerto che saprà esprimere tutta la bellezza dell’energia collettiva del fare musica insieme.

Conservatorio San Pietro/ Falaut Festival turns ten: a tribute to Jean-Claude Gérard
Falaut Festival turns ten. And it celebrates it at the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory in Naples. On June 28th and 29th with masterclasses, seminars, moments of exchange, lots of music and internationally renowned teachers. A precious opportunity for young musicians to meet, learn and share the joy of playing together.
Salvatore Lombardi, artistic director of the festival organized by the AFI Falaut ETS association, says: «After nine unforgettable editions, which led us to share our music in wonderful places, from Cernusco sul Naviglio to Pescara, from Milan to the enchanting shores of Lake Como, this time we have chosen to celebrate the tenth anniversary in a place that perfectly represents the spirit of meeting and celebration that has always animated our Festival».
It begins on Saturday, June 28th with a full tribute to Jean-Claude Gérard. On stage some of his former students, now established world-famous artists: Andrea Oliva, Jihoon Shin, Natalia Gerakis, Christina Fassbender and Hyunim Yoon.
A loving and heartfelt tribute to a musician and teacher of a day that ends at 6 pm with a concert that will remember a legendary figure of world flute music.
Sunday 29 June at 10 am open rehearsals for the FalauTogether Flute Orchestra by Maestro Paolo Totti. At 3 pm the presentation of the book “Il Primo Giubileo della storia” by the journalist and writer Angelo De Nicola, published by One Group Edizioni. The volume is dedicated to the Celestinian Pardon, established in 1294 by Pope Celestine V and recognized as the first Jubilee in history. De Nicola analyzes the historical and spiritual value of the plenary indulgence granted by Celestine, symbol of a Church that looks to peace, forgiveness and reconciliation.
At 5 pm the FalauTogether Flute Orchestra conducted by Paolo Totti, a guarantee of quality and passion, will offer a concert that will express all the beauty of the collective energy of making music together.
