Il programma del recital pone in relazione diverse prospettive: la forza espressiva di Prokof’ev, la ricchezza timbrica di Debussy e la rilettura virtuosistica di Čajkovskij secondo Pletnev. Ne risulta un itinerario pianistico che attraversa funzioni e linguaggi dello strumento, dal quadro narrativo alla miniatura, fino alla grande architettura della Sonata.
Beatrice Rana si è imposta all’attenzione internazionale in seguito al Concorso Van Cliburn a cui prende parte nel 2013. È da allora che collabora con direttori e orchestre di primo piano a livello internazionale, tra cui Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Chailly, Antonio Pappano, la Filarmonica di Berlino.
Il Festival pianistico proseguirà con i seguenti appuntamenti: 10 marzo (ore 20) Seong-Jin Cho; 19 marzo (ore 20) Hélène Grimaud; 12 ottobre (ore 20) Yunchan Lim.

The recital programme brings together different perspectives: the expressive power of Prokofiev, the rich timbre of Debussy and Pletnev’s virtuoso reinterpretation of Tchaikovsky. The result is a pianistic journey that explores the functions and languages of the instrument, from narrative pieces to miniatures, to the grand architecture of the Sonata.
Beatrice Rana came to international attention following the Van Cliburn Competition in which she took part in 2013. Since then, she has collaborated with leading international conductors and orchestras, including Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Chailly, Antonio Pappano, and the Berlin Philharmonic.
