Sabba pubblica il quinto singolo dal titolo “Lo strano caso della mia felicità”. Un titolo quasi poliziesco, se si vuole dare un tocco ironico. Con questa traccia si chiude questo ennesimo ciclo artistico del cantante partenopeo iniziato dieci mesi fa e che ha portato Sabba a pubblicare un totale di cinque inediti con “Carnera”, “Call me”, “Portami giù” ft. PeppOh e “Prima o poi”.
Salvatore Lampitelli, in arte Sabba, in questo nuovo brano torna a collaborare con il produttore Massimo D’Ambra, mentre per la scrittura ha stabilito un nuovo feeling artistico precisamente con H.E.R., al secolo Erma Pia Castriotta, cantante e violinista transgender, conosciuta condividendo le tavole del palco degli spettacoli teatrali e musicali dal titolo Dignità autonome di prostituzione di Luciano Melchionna dal format di Betta Cianchini e Luciano Melchionna.
“Lo strano caso della mia felicità” unisce la potenza della musica con un romantico e disperato appello all’amore. Il testo ruota intorno al concetto universale di “amore inclusivo” e ci ricorda quanto sia fondamentale credere in sé stessi ma al contempo sostenersi a vicenda, soprattutto nelle relazioni amorose durante le quali si scovano quegli enigmatici brandelli di bellezza residua per sopravvivere all’inferno interiore. Spesso ci si aggrappa alla vita restando grati a chi ci è rimasto vicino malgrado “la fretta di morire”.

Salvatore Lampitelli, in arte Sabba, è il vincitore nel 2017 del talent show “The Winner Is”, condotto su Canale 5 da Gerry Scotti, che dopo averlo sentito duettare con Fausto Leali disse: «Sei uno dei cantanti che mi ha impressionato di più; la tua vocalità mi ricorda Demetrio Stratos».
Sabba, dotato di potenza vocale formidabile e timbrica molto bella –secondo gli stessi Fausto Leali e Mara Maionchi – ritorna in TV nel talent show “All Together Now”, condotto da Michelle Hunziker, in onda su Canale 5. Questa volta, partecipa in qualità di giudice nei 100 del Muro degli Esperti, dopo aver partecipato nel 2020 con TheSuper4 all’edizione di X-Factor Romania arrivando in finale ed ottenendo un successo di pubblico straordinario, grazie anche ai video diventati virali su X-Factor Global della loro versione di Caruso e Grande amore. Da quell’esperienza nasce il featuring con Bella Santiago, vincitrice dell’edizione X-Factor Romania 2019, nel riarrangiamento di un celebre classico della musica italiana, “Vivo per lei”. Sabba torna in Romania con i TheSuper4, come ospiti alla finale di XFactor Romania 2021 e per il loro primo concerto sold out a Bucarest nella prestigiosa cornice della Sala Palatului.
Tra i 10 finalisti di New York, canta con la sua “Comete”, grazie alla quale si esibisce al Blue Note di Milano e sarà live su Rai Italia, la Rai trasmessa nel Mondo e successivamente su Rai2. In quella occasione, con Enrico Ruggeri presentatore, ritrova Fausto Leali, stavolta in qualità di giurato.
Tra le altre esperienze qualificanti nella sua carriera discografica, “L’ultimo Apache” (Suonidelsud/RaiTrade) con Franco del Prete pioniere del Neapolitan Power (The Showmen, Napoli Centrale) in qualità prima di cantante solista, ma anche di co-compositore e successivamente di chitarrista ritmico. Con i Sud Express, la band di Del Prete, saranno ospiti al Premio De André e premiati come New Neapolitan Progressive al Piedigrotta Festival presieduto da Enzo Avitabile. Due tour con oltre 350 date in tutta Italia e due dischi incisi con la band Sabba e Gli Incensurabili, “Nessuno si senta offeso” (BulbArt) e “Sogno e Son Fesso” (Full Heads). Con “Chiamatemi Nerone”, contenuta in questo secondo disco, sono finalisti al premio De André. Dal 2015 è parte della compagnia di “Dignità Autonome di Prostituzione” del registra Luciano Melchionna.
Negli ultimi anni entra anche nel progetto del sassofonista Daniele Sepe “Capitan Capitone” in qualità di cantante sia in studio che live.

Sabba releases the fifth single entitled ‘Lo strano caso della mia felicità, an almost police-like title if you want to give it an ironic twist. This track closes the artistic cycle of the Neapolitan singer that began ten months ago and that has led Sabba to release a total of five unreleased tracks with “Carnera”, “Call me”, “Portami giù” ft. PeppOh and “Prima o poi“.

“Lo strano caso della mia felicità” brings together the power of music with a romantic and desperate plea for love. The lyrics revolve around the universal concept of ‘inclusive love’ and remind us how crucial it is to believe in oneself but at the same time support each other, especially in love relationships during which one finds those enigmatic shreds of residual beauty to survive the inner hell. We often cling to life while remaining grateful to those who have remained close to us despite ‘the rush to die’.

Sabba is among the 10 finalists of New York Canta with his “Comets,” thanks to which he performs at the Blue Note in Milan and will be live on Rai Italia, Rai broadcast in the World and later on Rai2. On that occasion, with Enrico Ruggeri as presenter, he finds Fausto Leali again, this time as a juror.
Other salient and qualifying experiences in his recording career include “The last Apache” (Suonidelsud/RaiTrade) with Franco del Prete pioneer of Neapolitan Power (The Showmen, Napoli Centrale) as first lead singer, but also as co-composer and later as rhythm guitarist. With Sud Express, Del Prete’s band, they will be guests at the De Andrè Award and honored as New Neapolitan Progressive at the Piedigrotta Festival chaired by d.a. Enzo Avitabile. Two tours with over 350 dates throughout Italy and two records recorded with the band Sabba and Gli Incensurabili, “Nessuno si senta offeso” (BulbArt) and “Sogno e Son Fesso” (Full Heads). With “Call Me Nero,” contained in this second album, they are finalists in the De André Award. Since 2015 he has been part of the company of “Dignità Autonome di Prostituzione” by director Luciano Melchionna.
