La Francia e Napoli si abbracciano nella settimana franconapoletana che si svolgerà dal 20 al 27 maggio. Tra le iniziative in programma all’istituto francese che ha sede nel Palazzo Grenoble, due incontri a ingresso gratuito fra teatro, musica, figurativo e letteratura in cui verranno coniugati e sottolineati gli aspetti comuni alla cultura francese e napoletana, in virtù di antichi ma anche attuali e costanti scambi tra le due dottrine artistiche.
Mercoledì 22 maggio alle 15:30, nella Sala Dumas all’Istituto Icra Project (diretto da Michele Monetta e Lina Salvatore) proporrà un atelier di Commedia dell’Arte intitolato: Pulcinella, Scaramouche e l’apprendistato Di Molière, a cura di Michele Monetta.
L’incontro, tra maschere, incisioni e letture, sarà destinato a studenti e docenti : in primo piano, il rapporto stretto fra il teatro italiano e quello francese che ebbe principale vettore l’attività fitta dei comici italiani (i primi grandi maestri di teatro) in Francia e poi in tutta Europa a partire dalla fine del ‘500.
Il 24 maggio alle ore 19.30, concerto teatrale Grand Tour a Napoli (foto) con letture, dialoghi, musiche e canzoni che designano Napoli come importante e imprescindibile punto di riferimento del Gran Tour appunto (il famoso Viaggio in Italia) di artisti, studiosi, poeti e intellettuali come Goethe, Stendhal, Mozart, Shelley, Wilde e tanti altri provenienti da vari luoghi d’Europa a partire dal ‘700 sino a tutto l’800.
Saranno proposte musiche e canzoni di Saverio Mercadante, Gaetano Donizetti, Raffaele Calace, Paolo Tosti, Pasquale Costa, Giovanni Paisiello, G. Louis Cottrau, Salvatore Di Giacomo, Gabriele d’Annunzio. Gli interpreti del concerto teatrale saranno Lina Salvatore, Michele Monetta, Lorenzo Marino e Gabriele Bacco.

France and Naples will embrace each other during the French-Naples Week, which will take place from May 20th to 27th. Among the initiatives planned at the French Institute of the Palazzo di Grenoble, there will be two open meetings between theater, music, visual arts and literature, in which the common aspects of French and Neapolitan culture will be combined and highlighted, thanks to the ancient but also current and constant exchanges between the two artistic schools.
On Wednesday, May 22nd, at 15:30, in the Sala Dumas by the Icra Project Institute (directed by Michele Monetta and Lina Salvatore) a Commedia dell’Arte workshop will be offered under the title: Pulcinella, Scaramouche and the Apprenticeship of Molière, curated by Michele Monetta.
The meeting, among masks, engravings and readings, is addressed to students and teachers: in the foreground, the close relationship between Italian and French theater, which had as main vector the dense activity of Italian comedians (the first great masters of the theater) in France and then throughout Europe from the end of the 1500s.
On May 24th at 7:30 pm, theatrical concert Grand Tour in Naples, with readings, dialogues, music and songs that designate Naples as an important and indispensable point of reference of the Grand Tour precisely (the famous journey to Italy) of artists, scholars, poets and intellectuals such as Goethe, Stendhal, Mozart, Shelley, Wilde and many others from different places in Europe from the 1700s to the 1800s.
