Comic(on)off invade Napoli. Da oggi, mercoledì 22 marzo fino al 30 giugno. Tra mostre, incontri, ospiti e tante manifestazioni. Fumettisti, scrittori, illustratori, attori e musicisti si ritroveranno nei più diversi spazi culturali della città, per offrire nuove esperienze creative, novità editoriali e intrattenimento al pubblico partenopeo durante le settimane che precedono e seguono l’arrivo di Comicon, il Festival Internazionale della Cultura Pop in programma presso Mostra d’Oltremare dal 28 aprile al primo maggio.
Dal Goethe-Institut all’Archivio di Stato, dall’Institut Français all’Instituto Cervantes, 20 luoghi della città si attiveranno per ospitare e celebrare artisti italiani e stranieri, presentare nuovi progetti e indicare nuove strade per le arti visive e narrative contemporanee, pronti ad accogliere la grande onda della cultura pop.
Ecco l’arte del fumetto grazie a una stretta collaborazione con il Museo Darwin-Dohrn, l’Archivio di Stato e gli istituti culturali di Francia, Germania e Spagna a Napoli, rinnovando così il ruolo internazionale del capoluogo campano, in linea con quanto accadrà presso la Mostra d’Oltremare nei giorni festivalieri di Comicon.
Tra i primi eventi, dal 5 aprile al 4 maggio, la mostra di Luis Quiles. El antisocial al Design Sulmondo in collaborazione con l’instituto Cervantes di Napoli. Un tuffo all’interno della carriera dell’autore, tra le sue illustrazioni e il suo pungente lavoro di denuncia nei confronti delle “degenerazioni social”. Quiles incontra il pubblico per una visita guidata (prenotazioni mostre@comicon.it) in galleria, il 3 maggio alle 18.00 e, a seguire, al Cervantes.
Dal 12 aprile al 26 maggio la francese Oriane Lassus presenta all’ Istituto francese di Napoli Fuori circuito: l’autrice ripercorre la sua carriera tra il fumetto indipendente, le riviste e i volumi per ragazzi. “I guardiani del solaio”, pubblicato in Italia da Diabolo Edizioni, ha vinto il premio della Scuola Europea Superiore dell’Immagine. Incontro con l’autrice il 2 maggio alle 19.30.
Dal 27 aprile al16 giugno al Goethe Institut Napoli, c’è Richard Kleist con l’esposizione Le mie muse, la mia musica che l’artista tedesco dedica ai suoi lavori sui musicisti, tra cui il suo recente graphic novel “Starman”, che omaggia David Bowie. Inaugurazione con lui che incontrerà il pubblico pubblico alle 11.30.
Tra le le tantissime iniziative, ricordiamo anche il 20 aprile, alle 18.30, al museo del Tesoro di San Gennaro San Gennaro. Il patto è il sangue. Mostra del fumetto di Benedetta Baroni e Alessandro Di Virgilio, pubblicato da Kleiner Flug, con performance musicale dal vivo di Alfonso (Fofò) Bruno, Fulvio di Nocera e Chiara Carnevale. Intervengono con gli autori Alessio d’Uva, fondatore di Kleiner Flug, Francesca Ummarino, direzione Museo del Tesoro di San Gennaro e la Deputazione della Real Cappella del Tesoro di San Gennaro.

Comic(on)off/ A lot of comics and meetings flood Naples: March 22 to June 30. Richard Kleist honors David Bowie, pact is blood at the Tesoro di San Gennaro

Comic(on)off is invading Naples. From today, Wednesday, March 22 until June 30. Among exhibitions, meetings, guests and many events. Comic book artists, writers, illustrators, actors and musicians will be gathering in the city’s most diverse cultural spaces to offer new creative experiences, publishing news and entertainment to the Neapolitan public during the weeks before and after the arrival of Comicon, the International Festival of Pop Culture scheduled at Mostra d’Oltremare from April 28 to May 1.
From the Goethe-Institut to the State Archives, from the Institut Français to the Instituto Cervantes, 20 venues in the city will be activated to host and celebrate Italian and foreign artists, present new projects and point out new directions for contemporary visual and narrative arts, ready to welcome the great wave of pop culture.
Here is the art of comics thanks to a close collaboration with the Darwin-Dohrn Museum, the State Archives and the cultural institutes of France, Germany and Spain in Naples, thus renewing the international role of the Campania capital, in line with what will happen at the Mostra d’Oltremare during the festival days of Comicon.
Among the first events, from April 5 to May 4, the exhibition Luis Quiles. El antisocial at Design Sulmondo in collaboration with the institute Cervantes of Naples. A dive inside the author’s career, among his illustrations and his pungent work denouncing “social degeneration.” Quiles meets the public for a guided tour (reservations mostre@comicon.it) at the gallery on May 3 at 6 p.m. followed by a tour at Cervantes.
From April 12 to May 26, French artist Oriane Lassus presents Fuori circuito at the French Institute in Naples: the author traces her career between independent comics, magazines and children’s volumes. “The Guardians of the Attic,” published in Italy by Diabolo Edizioni, won the prize of the European Higher School of Image. Meeting with the author on May 2 at 7:30 p.m.
From April 27 to June16 at the Goethe Institut Naples, there is Richard Kleist with the exhibition My Muses, My Music, which the German artist devotes to his work on musicians, including his recent graphic novel “Starman,” which pays homage to David Bowie. Opening with him meeting the public audience at 11:30 a.m.
Among the many initiatives, we also include that on April 20, at 6:30 p.m., at the Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro San Gennaro. The pact is blood. Exhibition of the comic strip by Benedetta Baroni and Alessandro Di Virgilio, published by Kleiner Flug, with live musical performance by Alfonso (Fofò) Bruno, Fulvio di Nocera and Chiara Carnevale. Speaking with the authors are Alessio d’Uva, founder of Kleiner Flug, Francesca Ummarino, director Museo del Tesoro di San Gennaro and the Deputation of the Royal Chapel of the Treasure of San Gennaro.
