Parassiti. Con questo singolo Alvie (foto) entra nella scena musicale. Il lavoro è prodotto da Suono Libero Music, l’etichetta discografica diretta da Nando Misuraca, con la partecipazione dei musicisti Corrado Calignano e Vince Carpentieri, che hanno contribuito alla definizione dell’identità sonora del progetto.
L’artista ventiquattrenne affronta il tema delle conseguenze emotive che alcune relazioni possono lasciare anche molto tempo dopo la loro conclusione. I “parassiti” del titolo diventano così la metafora di pensieri, paure, ferite e ricordi che continuano a vivere dentro chi li ha attraversati.
Spiega Alvie: «Mi interessava raccontare una sensazione che credo appartenga a molte persone. Spesso pensiamo che la fine di una relazione coincida automaticamente con la fine delle sue conseguenze. In realtà alcune esperienze continuano a vivere dentro di noi sotto forme diverse, riemergendo quando meno ce lo aspettiamo. Parassiti nasce proprio da questa consapevolezza».
Parassiti si muove in una dimensione di pop alternativo dalle atmosfere scure e sospese. La produzione costruisce un equilibrio tra tensione emotiva e immediatezza melodica, lasciando spazio alla voce e alla forza del testo. L’arrangiamento cresce progressivamente, accompagnando l’ascoltatore in un percorso sonoro che conserva intatto il senso di vulnerabilità che attraversa l’intero brano.
Alvie si muove nel mondo della musica con un bagaglio artistico costruito nel tempo. Studia cinema, canta da oltre dieci anni e in questo esordio mescola scrittura personale, sensibilità visiva e intensità emotiva, attraverso una chiave contemporanea.
Il video è firmato da Claudio D’Avascio: «La mia formazione cinematografica ha influito molto sulla costruzione del video. Inoltre amo il thriller e l’horror, non solo al cinema. La mia adolescenza è stata accompagnata dai libri di Stephen King e credo che queste influenze abbiano contribuito a creare l’atmosfera che cercavo per questa canzone e che, più in generale, vorrei portare nella mia musica».

Parassiti. With this single, Alvie (photo) makes his debut on the music scene. The track is produced by Suono Libero Music, the record label headed by Nando Misuraca, with contributions from musicians Corrado Calignano and Vince Carpentieri, who helped to define the project’s sound.
The 24-year-old artist tackles the theme of the emotional consequences that some relationships can leave behind, even long after they have ended. The ‘parasites’ of the title thus become a metaphor for the thoughts, fears, wounds and memories that continue to live on within those who have experienced them.
Alvie explains: “I wanted to convey a feeling that I believe many people share. We often think that the end of a relationship automatically marks the end of its consequences. In reality, certain experiences continue to live within us in different forms, resurfacing when we least expect it. ‘Parassiti’ stems precisely from this realisation.”
Parassiti operates within an alternative pop dimension characterised by dark, suspended atmospheres. The production builds a balance between emotional tension and melodic immediacy, leaving space for the vocals and the power of the lyrics. The arrangement builds progressively, accompanying the listener on a sonic journey that preserves the sense of vulnerability running through the entire track.
Alvie navigates the world of music with an artistic background built up over time. She studied film, has been singing for over ten years, and in this debut she blends personal songwriting, visual sensibility and emotional intensity, all through a contemporary lens.
The video was directed by Claudio D’Avascio: ‘My film training had a major influence on the video’s structure. I also love thrillers and horror, not just in films. My teenage years were spent reading Stephen King’s books, and I believe these influences helped create the atmosphere I was looking for in this song and, more generally, the atmosphere I’d like to bring to my music.”
