ScenAria porta Peppe Barra a Santa Croce del Sannio. Nel teatro all’aperto di piazza Aldo Moro martedì 11 agosto, alle ore 21:15, Peppe Barra rende omaggio a Enzo Moscato interpretando con maestria uno dei suoi testi più emblematici.
Barra porta in scena il genio del poeta e drammaturgo con “Spiritilli” coadiuvato da due straordinari interpreti, Lalla Esposito, storica presenza moscatiana, con cui Barra da anni condivide con grande successo la scena della “Cantata dei pastori”, e il giovane talentuoso Giuseppe Affinito, legittimo e acclarato erede del succitato grande drammaturgo. I due lo accompagnano cimentandosi in estratti da “Festa al Celeste e Nubile Santuario” e da “Rondò”.
Con la sua straordinaria voce, Barra attraversa le parole di Moscato per l’edizione 2026 di “ScenAria”, rassegna nata nel 2008 immaginata e realizzata da Angelo Cassetta e da Nicolina Zeoli, è sostenuta dal Comune e dalla Pro-Loco del borgo sannita. Con questo nuovo appuntamento Santa Croce del Sannio si conferma luogo di cultura condivisa.
“Spiritilli” racconta l’incontro tra il mondo umano e familiare con l’elemento mitico e favoloso che da sempre, a Napoli, abita cuori e case. Una storia di fantasmi e presenze che visitando le esistenze degli umili e dei diseredati le arricchiscono di visioni e rivelazioni, ma al tempo stesso le sconvolgono conducendole verso un esito dirompente.
Una composizione drammaturgica curata da Claudio Affinito da sempre direttore della compagnia teatrale “Enzo Moscato“, la produzione è di “Casa del Contemporaneo”. Ingresso libero fino ad esaurimento posti.

ScenAria takes Peppe Barra to Santa Croce del Sannio. At the open-air theater in Piazza Aldo Moro on Tuesday, August 11th, at 9:15 pm, Peppe Barra pays homage to Enzo Moscato by masterfully interpreting one of his most emblematic texts.
Barra brings the genius of the poet and playwright to the stage with “Spiritilli” assisted by two extraordinary performers, Lalla Esposito, a historic Moscow presence, with whom Barra has shared the scene of the “Shepherds’ Cantata” with great success for years, and the talented young Giuseppe Affinito, legitimate and acclaimed heir of the aforementioned great playwright. The two accompany him by trying their hand at excerpts from “Festa al Celeste e Nubile Santuario” and “Rondò”.
With his extraordinary voice, Barra crosses Moscato’s words for the 2026 edition of “ScenAria”, a festival founded in 2008 and conceived and created by Angelo Cassetta and Nicolina Zeoli, and supported by the Municipality and the Pro-Loco of the Samnite village. With this new event, Santa Croce del Sannio confirms itself as a place of shared culture.
“Spiritilli” tells the story of the encounter between the human and family world and the mythical and fabulous element that has always inhabited hearts and homes in Naples. A story of ghosts and presences that by visiting the lives of the humble and the underprivileged enrich them with visions and revelations, but at the same time shock them, leading them towards a disruptive outcome.
A dramaturgical composition curated by Claudio Affinito, always director of the “Enzo Moscato” theatre company, the production is by “Casa del Contemporaneo”. Free admission while seats last.
